Is it any easier to get the true ending in this version? I like Star Fox but I suck at it.

Well, this is just me, but I never beat a Star Fox game until this one. Even I was able to beat it. And though it is pretty tough (thanks mostly to part where you have to defend the Great Fox against 6 missles and I personally hate tower defense), there is an easy mode and you can keep retrying a level without loosing a life. I was able to get the true ending, and no kidding, if I can do it, anyone can.

Got this off eBay. I thought I ordered a standee instead of a keychain until I double checked...after the payment cleared. But that's okay. I'm getting the Standee too. You can never have too much Krystal.

Yes, I already owned the digital version. Yes I now have the physical version. For some reason, I've been on a physical kick the past few days.

Here's something really cool. This YouTuber went and created a complete version of Star Fox 64's story that shows what the Star Fox team might have done if they had gone to every single planet and fought against every single boss all in one long campaign to save the entire Lylat System from Andross, including both Corneria bosses, both Venom bosses, and every battle against Star Wolf.

Granted, in order to create this epic narrative, he had to break some paths from how they are performed in the game, like having Star Fox backtrack to planets located behind them, which cannot be done in-game, or having Star Fox travel the path opposite to those that follow the completion of certain path-specific missions. But these backwards paths and altered routes were not done on a whim. Every direction taken by the Star Fox team in this story is given a narrative-specific reason, and all of which are very reasonable for the purposes of the greater story.

Hard to believe after Sony’s statements, Microsoft’s physical disc certification failures, and Google yanking someone’s copy of LotR: Extended Edition due to a lost license. :p
This arrived from Ebay today. It also included the instruction manual.

Don't you dare judge me!

Probably. Are they having any life expectancy issues these days or are they still a safe bet?

My first Gamecube did the same thing. I hadn't heard of it being a widespread thing, but yeah, my GameCube did the same thing. Meanwhile, my Wii still works. So it may be worth a shot.

I'm actually enjoying Adventures okay. But without a strategy guide, I'm giving Google a real workout.

meanwhile, I actually found Assault on Ebay for $80. This is the first time in a while I've seen it for less than $100, so I pounced on it.

I never beat Adventures. Stupid Test of Fear. You'll find out.

Assault is underrated. I do not understand why people slept on it.

I had it and then ran into a brick wall, so I sold it off. Regretted ever since.

Wow! So basically someone said "if Nintendo isn't going to do it, we will." Not sure how I feel about that.

In other news, my copy of Star Fox Assault finally came from eBay. So here's my updated Starfox collection.

It's actually even more depressing because I've watched a few reviews now and the most common complaint is that it's literally just a 64 reskin. Beat for beat with a handful of original ideas that are few and far between unfortunately.

It has a 60 metacritic, and I can't help but feel it probably would have been better received if Nintendo hadn't beaten them to the punch by a month.

Not just someone, but some of the original developers.
