This is funny to me, because it reminds me of the time they shot American footage of the Power Rangers each summoning their Thunderzords individually, but then had them all stand in the exact same spot.
They did so much work trying to make the new footage work with the old suits. They eventually ripped the bandaid off with Zeo and it ended up being fine... I think it could have worked had they just done it in season two and saved themselves a lot of extra effort.IIRC, they were worried the MMPR suits were too iconic.
And maybe they were right, if you look at things now.
Or maybe it's because they didn't go with DaiRanger footage that they became so iconic?
