I do genuinely wonder just how much longer Trump has. He is not a healthy individual, that's clear. His diet is abysmal. The dementia is getting worse.
Honestly, I think we're in a race to see who/what does him in first. His base is getting more and more violent. All it takes is him saying the wrong thing to flip the switch on one of the violent ones. At the same time, modern medicine can only do so much to keep that bloated carcass going.

When he goes, it is going to create a massive amount of chaos. Ironbite is right. The MAGAts don't follow party or philosophy. They follow Trump. Vance is not the next in line, there is no next in line. And when he's gone we're going to see a hundred 'heir apparents' show up to try and claim the throne.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

So... they're going to have a vote about an ingredient in vaccines which aren't actually in vaccines?

It's literally anything but human-caused climate change with these people.
Funny thing is that CREATING A FLOOD is HUMAN-CAUSED CLIMATE CHANGE..... I mean LITERALLY if we have the ability to influence the weather ON PURPOSE, we can definitely affect the climate. It's just so stupid to deny human caused climate change on one hand and believe some secret organization is controlling the weather on the other.

It's not stupidity, it's malice. Malice towards people you've decided are the Bad Guys and not toward the people you've decided are not. What one chooses to believe and not believe is, ultimately, a choice, and choices have motives behind them.

And that's especially true of politicians, who at any given moment are liable to set aside what they actually believe in favor of spreading whatever narrative they're being paid off to spread.

It's funny to read this right after watching a video where Jasmine Crockett talks about how Repubs only deny climate change when they're physically in the U.S.:

I 100% agree on the politician part. I'll only partially agree on that for the people who follow them. It's not always malice, sometimes it's just ignorance couple with a serious lack of logical reasoning. This is especially true with those indoctrinated from an early age with extreme beliefs from parents and/or religious leaders.
