OmAlucard, the demo was over so quickly! I was so ready to play more! Darn! Haha, what a tease of a demo!
It was more involved than I thought but over before I knew it, darn!
Took me a few tries to get that boss down.
I found a handful of hidden stuff. There is a chicken in the wall right before the boss room. Right after getting the 'swing' ability in the next room there is a hidden statue with exp hidden up above.
Feels good and the story seems interesting. I'm very much looking forward to it!

I had some trouble with the boss, so I went into setting and realized I can really make this game extremely unbalanced in my favor. I may want to play around with the settings so that I can get through without banging my head against the wall yet not feel like I've totally neutered the game...IE...let's not set my damage to max, enemy damage to minimum, max potions and no death. There needs to be a "yeah, I'm cheating, but not too bad" medium.
Few tips that helped me down the boss. You can slide under him for one.
I managed to get him down enough to where he began to do the 'swing' attack. At least for me. He'd swing at me. Jump up and pound the ground. When he did that I'd jump and cling to the wall as you can sit there on it for a few seconds. This usually made me avoid taking damage. Then I'd hit him a few times. He'd then jump back to the other side of the room, and repeat the swing attack. To which I'd repeat my strategy and basically take him down.

Sliding between his legs was the game changer for me. Someone just suggested it on the livestream and I was quite doubtful about it working since it didn't look obvious. I was flabbergasted and internally embarrassed when it actually worked, dang!

Story wise, I love how it totally continues the Netflix show. But I'm saddened to learn that Sypha died just a few months after the showed ended, dang

I changed my "Dodge" button to R, that made dodging and sliding under him MUCH easier.
I just saw a video of someone finding a hidden area in the ceiling (Using the whip) and found a new weapon. Gonna have to search the demo for that.
I was about to ask about that! I saw the title of a video saying there's a secret weapon. I just rechecked the demo and I didn't find anything on a wall.
So it was in a ceiling?!?! No wonder I didn't see it. Rechecking now...
Edit - I found it. Gosh dang, I think it would have been impossible to find without help. I need to recheck a before picture to make sure because its diabolical.

I haven't.. but besides playing around with settings.. I haven't done much with the demo after "beating" it.
We got physically CURSED! hehe
Seeing if it will continue from the Demo...
I was able to play for about 5 minutes before going to work. You do start right where you were on the demo. The save data transgers over, so...yeah.
HOWEVER...if you're a cheating bastard like me who turned damage dealt all the way up, damage received all the way down, exp received all the way up...you'll have to change those settings again.
I can't wait to get home and play more!
