Well..I'm going to go for my first Botcon....won't have much money and only doing Friday...but I always wanted to go...and if nothing else I can film some video with Danny the Puppet for Collecting Bots...for the three or four people who actually watch each week....
Transformers Sunbow Season 5 Continued!
It is the year 1988. You just finished watching the last of the Transformers "G1" Season 5 recap episodes featuring NEW live-action segments starring Jason Jansen as Tommy Kennedy and Peter Cullen as Powermaster Optimus Prime. Twenty episodes that told the overall story of the Transformers from Season 1 through Season 4. Those recap episodes were it though. No "new" follow up episodes. No appearances from the 1988 toy line... until now!
BotCon Unlimited Issue #5 brings you the first two NEW episodes from Transformers Season 5 Continued. The BotCon Annual Comic Magazine will now include a yearly comic anthology that will explore the untold stories from across the multiverse. This years edition will feature Transformers Sunbow Season 5 Episode 24, Transformers Sunbow Season 5 Episode 28, and Transformers RID Battle Protocol featuring the characters from this year's BotCon Exclusive VS set.
These 5 page comic stories are supplemental tie-ins to the synopses found on this years BotCon exclusives Ricochet, Avatar Megatron, and Sideburn VS Menasor.
Featuring story contributions from former G1 Sunbow writers Michael Charles Hill and Flint Dille and art by Transformers (and Divine Circuits!) artist Robby Musso, you won't want to miss what PJ & J cooked up for you!
This LIMITED EDITION Comic Magazine is included with every Premium and Premium Plus attending package. Any extra's will be sold at the BotCon store booth starting on July 9th at the Schaumburg Convention Center. This edition is limited to only 400 copies, so make sure you get there early to secure your copy!
One last note. The cover is a homage to the BotCon Chicago 1996 program cover, which itself was a homage to the poster from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. When you have been around for over 30 years, we figure it is ok to homage ourselves at this point! (Having Sue Blu, the voice of Arcee, at the show this year makes it even that much more perfect!)

I will be heading up tomorrow afternoon, carpooling for the first time. Looking forward to the fun!
Just so y'all are aware, I decided to go with Weekend registration this year instead of either Premium or Plus, as the Weekend option was the most economical for me this year and I didn't care for most of the additional bonuses of the other two. So, I'll have to get my exclusives from the BotCon Store this year (the ones I want the most are the Yolopark VS 2-pack, the convention comic magazine, and the Mini-Force Rexkaiser Black Edition) and will have to wait in line longer for entry on both Thursday night and Friday morning.
In a perfect world I'd have enough money to get a hotel room and buy all the goodies, but I'm going to be just happy to be there for a day. Either way I think it will be fun.I signed up for Premium Plus. Got my goodies and looking forward to tomorrow.
I know. I hollered at you when you came around to snap pics of the exclusive banners, and didn't acknowledge.
Also, hugging HELL! I got in Premium line at 16:00, the Premium+ holders are already done, it's 17:17, and I've since moved 30 feet!
I feel like this is ONE thing from the original cons they didn't need to bring back.
