That would be awesome.

In bad news, Blokees can't sell their Defender series Devvy parts here in the US due to licensing. ShowZ had a stock but sold out in hours leaving me and many others wondering how we can get these parts. There's gotta be some solution.

How have they not done these things in actual Action Master colours?
Ohhhh, no, no. I do NOT need a reason to start collecting this line.

I'm already forcing myself to stay away from the GVD/GDV scale, which is kind of putting me in mind of Kre-O (and the line's general ease of customizing)... and of COURSE that's the line where Hot Rod shows up first.

Besides, Yolopark could get more accurately proportioned Action Masters anyway. ;)

So I finally had some time. School is over, all that work is done. And so, I finally got to put together Blokee's Action Edition G1 Megatron.
Long story short, he's an amazing build. Super fun, great articulation (even his fingers move, which is a step up from Prime) and the lights for his eyes and chest is super bright and stands out well.
All the accessories fit into the throne and you have alternate pieces so Laserbeak can perch on his arm securely if you want.

I just finished mine as well. Compared to gunpla, it’s not as high quality plastic (a bit softer, and a lot of swirl around the gate areas). But for the amount of accessories and articulation, you can’t beat the price.

I will admit this thread made me curious about blokees, thinking I wouldn’t catch the collecting bug. I walked out of the store yesterday with G1 Megs, TFOne Starscream, and two wave 1 figures. I’m running out of room as it is….

The Galaxy Version Defender minis make me crave a Blokees line of Mega Man characters, wh whether in that smaller scale or the regular Blokees size.

As long as they hew more faithfully to the aesthetic rather than the awkward stylizing of their MCU stuff, it'd be great. Most of the parts are even directly reusable, some with some small mods. Although the faces would also be a consideration (the GVD series sculpts are nicer than the somewhat Wildman-ish, gaunt faces on the regular size figures).
GUESS WHAT!?

Well, that's fun news!

I hope these are good. Again, it's really going to come down to the faces; the regular TF Blokees range (I don't know which of the many subtitles this is, but it feels like the "main"/default one) has faces that are a bit long/gaunt looking in the helmets. And Mega Man stuff can easily look "off". But then, the Galaxy Defender stuff has nice stylized sculpts, and their other non-TF lines really capture those aesthetics.

Otherwise, it's such a perfect fit. From the modularity to the basic figure frame (the "tube"-y limbs are basically right on) to the way the line can pack so many figures into each wave, it's like it was MADE for the Mega Man franchise.

I just hope they focus on getting as many Robot Masters out there as possible, rather than the very cost-effective "flood each wave with Mega Man in all the weapon colors" mold reuse that makes sense but can easily drag momentum.

...yeah, thanks to my recent BotCon experience, I've caught the Blokees bug. Got a couple cases on the way in the mail. I just hope I don't have too much trouble getting the chase versions.

Well, I was already interested, but now...

Of course, if they do any Legends characters, I'll knock someone over to get one.

I forget who it was, but someone was doing these Transformers figures that had more Mega Man-like proportions already that I really dug. Was it Blokees?

That would be sick to have them standing together.

I'm definitely down for Megaman Blokees. That's going to be awesome.

Decided I really did want the Devastator Blokees, so I paid the ebay premium.

Mega Man or no, I'm still calling them "Bloke-ees" though.

So just be warned, in case I do a YouTube video or something.

I'm heading on vacation and I've picked up my first larger (not Galaxy Series) kit to build on the trip. I snagged the big Action Series G1 Optimus. Hopefully it'll be enjoyable.

-ZacWilliam, also snagged one Galaxy Series to open now. Got Sunstreaker and he was cool enough to kinda make me wish I'd grabbed two.

That’s how it starts. But don’t feel so bad.
If it’s anything like the Action G1 Megatron, it will be an enjoyable build. I’m on the lookout for one myself, and looking forward to these Action Series G1 Soundwave.
