Toys Ain't That a Kick in the Faceplate! MLS Soccer X Transformers Optimus Prime Photos!

From various ebay auctions we have our first look at what appears to be the leaked "Transformers "Kick" Crossover" figure, an Optimus Prime (sans faceplate) that converts into a US Major League Soccer branded soccer ball (or "foosball" for our non-US based members).

The figure comes with a stand for ball mode as well as his own in-scale ball. See the gallery below for more photos from the various auctions:

Needs that old BotBot soccer ball as a partner. Optimus meanwhile wonders why, since he revealed his new alt-mode, everyone just keeps coming up and kicking him in the shin, for NO reason, then laying on the ground and faking injuries after they do it. He can't figure it out.

Skywarp sneaks up behind him with a "kick me" sign, but then realizes that it's a wasted effort.

He consoles himself by pushing Kup down the stairs.

-Prime gets dropped from the team. Later decides to try out for Leader of the Autobots. Did better at it than he expected, considering how badly his sports career plans turned out.

-and that's the last retro commercial attempt Hasbro makes for a while.

This is another good Sports Collab after the NFL helmets. But I'm Team Canada... so I'm not interested in this deco, but if I do have a way to get it at a reasonable price, I'll repaint all the grey into pearl white to mask out all the USA logo & Star & Stripe over.

Didn't help that the primary weapon anyone used was kicking the balls.

Swindle had to TOTALLY re-write it when he pitched his species history to Hasbro as a merchandising scheme back in the 80's.
