Toys Age of Primes Venin Behind the Scenes

It's that time again! Markclonus is here once again to take us behind-the-scenes of the creation of another new Transformers creation, with the focus this time being on the remake of the Deluxe Insecticon Venin! This cicada may not eat your brains, but he might eat your crops!

Let's see what Mark has to say on the matter:

"All my jobs are hatchet jobs!"​

Venin: any of various toxic substances in snake VENOM , but wait, this brightly colored baddie is a cicada! Eek! Run for the hills!! The new insecticon battalion of cicada’s is coming to your shelf collection to wreak havoc, consume your energon, and install shear terror into the hearts of the Autobot do gooders!

"Mind if I axe you a question?"​

Move over Kickback, theres a more attractive stud in the colony, and he is packing his electric-blaster that can also combine with his short handled axe to increase dexterity for some battle ready action.

"Sure, Iron Man has rocket boots, too. But can he do... this?!"

Worked on this long awaited insecticon with Ejima san and he of course performed his Big E magic on him!​

"It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... got a Walther P38! Run!"​

Couldnt even tell you how long I wanted to finish all 7 insecticons at a deluxe scale but Im absolutely thrilled its happening! The thing about the swarm is simple though, it never stops coming. There’s a plethora of glorious insecticons that deserve new toys, some made at a smaller scale then I wanted, Im looking at you Hardshell! Some have never been made in plastic for us to collect. But, as we all know, they exist in the vast cybertronian lands of the never ending Transformers universe and need to be placed in collectors and kids hands for all to enjoy.
