Now I'm just imagining Megatron being like "Oh yeah? Well, see how you like it!" and attaching OP's arm to himself.

"Hmm... this is nowhere near as satisfying as I thought it would be. In fact, I think I'm starting to see why he did it..."
I imagine it'd be like mistakenly putting on a smoker's shirt or something considering the exhaust apparatus on the shoulder

This is what Megatron did when he took Optimus's arm:

Probably not in this set simply because there hasn't been time yet. My plan is, as of this moment, to get it, unpack it and check, and do any surgery/reporting of issues needed. Then I will see what happens next.

The fixing seems very easy just some minor sanding, and can ben done as preventative measure. I was surprised at how simple and quickly it can be done.

yeah once i get mine, assuming i didn't get unlucky and end up with one of the ones with the stress marks right out of the box, that's gonna be the first thing i do.

That's one nice thing about today's Transformers plastic. Sanding down tabs isn't so bad. Imagine doing this with UT plastic.

And for his next trick, Optimus Prime will swallow a running power sander and some silicon based plastic-safe lubricant, to the tune of FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE!!!!

Bumblebee would like to go on record saying he had nothing to do with this.

Edit: Weird, I got a note saying "Your shipment is on the way!" but while Fedex has a tracking number requiring a signature, HasbroPulse shows as not having shipped at all.

Edit to edit: AND FedEx has two different arrival dates. Bleh...

"Yes... good times. But you see, things are different now. For one thing, he wasn't going around wearing my arm back then!"

Well, it's about doggone time!

Just now, I finally got an email from Hasbro Pulse saying my Omega Prime has shipped. Had to go deep into Pulse's older system in order to get the tracking info, but they're shipping it via FedEx and the tracking says it should arrive to me by the end of this Saturday (which is unfortunate for me since I'll be going out of town that morning until Monday and won't be at home to sign for it. Ugh).

My Nephew's was cracked out of the box. He's already got a customer service claim going.

Tracking has been delayed to Tuesday. I have no idea how reliable US FedEx is when it comes to delivery. Website says it requires a signature, so they shouldn't do the thing where they just dump the package on the porch or something, right?

That'll depend on the FedEx driver. I know I had one that just dumped and ran with a package last Christmas.
