October 15 is Wave of Light, a time for families who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy or baby to join together in remembrance by lighting a candle or light for an hour starting at 7PM local time, with the idea of creating a "wave" of light around the world as thousands of families participate.
One group that has helped our family is No Foot Too Small, an organization that supports families of loss and works to build birthing and bereavement suites separate from maternity wards in area hospitals.
I am posting this partly to honor our own two lost children, but also to say that if anyone here has experienced loss, or knows someone who has, they are not alone, and there are groups with resources to help families through the grief process.
