When it comes to retooling…if it’s not obvious, it probably wasn’t worth the expense to partake, IMO. I mean, I could tell they changed the face, but I had to bring up an image of the original release to nail the EXACT changes…even then…it’s like when Star Wars fans fussed for YEARS about how...

BBTS has updated product pages with more current promotional images rather than the prerelease stuff initially sent out. I’m posting the link to Trap Jaw so you guys can see the final production deco. It is MUCH improved over the initial images, with darker skin and better contrast on the grey...

Classics Grimlock remains one of my all time favorite modern figures. Growing up, the first, and most used, Grimlock I had was the Pretender version. The Classics version just blended everything about that figure into a complete package. I would pay DOUBLE to get a Voyager remake that refined...

Shots were fired at the White House Correspondents Dinner. A Secret Service agent was hit and taken to the hospital, while Trump, Pence, the Cabinet and others were rushed off the premises. The shooter was apprehended, however numerous witnesses reported that the gunman opened fire within the...

More reveals on the back of the new film product launch: Wave 5 of the 200x Cartoon Collection has been revealed- Webstor, Buzz-Off and Keldor. I’ve been eagerly awaiting those bug men, so I’m glad to see them confirmed. Now, if only Mattel would give me some Snakemen…...

I told you! Not that it’s any surprise, but an Amazon Canada listing for a Masters of the Universe “First Ones” (one of the names that was bandied about for the Core/kids line in some materials) Playset for $119.99 in Maple Money. If dimensions are accurate, it promises to be a beefy offering...

And that goes back to faults with basically all the prior films. Aside from a single line in the first film and reference in the fifth, NONE of them ever offered anything for audiences TO become invested in. I agree that, at least at some point, Paramount and Hasbro did buy into their own hype...

BBTS has Skeletor shilling the new movie toys on social media. Speaking of, some new information CAN be gleaned from BBTS’s newly active listings: For Chronicles- Wave 1/2 (as with other figure lines, it seems multiple waves are shipping concurrently) seems to include He-Man, Skeletor, Man...

I’ll probably get Cliffjumper, being the minibot whore that I am. Cyclonus is “better” than the original (I should check for yellowing on mine, I guess), but not so much that I would consider replacing mine…especially since I rock the Targetmaster/Toy Flavor one as primary anyway. Certainly not...

Depends on what you’re looking for: the first 200x flavors are designed to compliment the broader Origins line. They are stockier or “Classic MOTU” styled, with 200x ELEMENTS on top of “classic” Skeletor and He-Man designs. If you have a broader range of Origins figures, these will “fit in”...

For me, I’ve not really followed Batman comics in a consistent manor for decades now. I might go back and get a collection here or there for popular arcs (on sale because I’m cheap), but it’s not like I’m reading any of them in “proper order” or anything either. While curious about Vandal...

Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out. Assuming it doesn’t sell out instantly :p But I’m also a man of simple tastes (probably why I like Fraction’s run! Heyo!), which is why I was a bit disappointed at how close the Mattel Core figure is to being what I’d be completely satisfied with, especially at...

I really liked the initial arc of Absolute Batman, but by the end of the second with Bane…it just got a little “off the rails” for me. Which wasn’t helped by Matt Fraction’s relaunched Batman book, which I’ve been greatly enjoying as a “back to basics” type book.

I mean, that was kind of inevitable when both Generations AND Studio Series started pulling from the same source for designs and characters.

Sneak peaks at upcoming Studio Series figures from BBTS: 86 Series Blitzwing, Cliffjumper, Cyclonus Cliffjumper is a clear retool of 86 Bumblebee, while the other two appear redecos of prior releases. Hasbro will probably reveal more this weekend at a Mexico Con where members from across...

Sony Pictures is handling international distribution for Masters of the Universe and released an international trailer for it. Largely similar to the existing trailers, it does feature a bit more of Adam on Earth and a few remixed sequences.

The trailer for Clayface. Again, this will be in continuity with stuff like Creature Commandos and Superman

Not sure to start a new thread or not, but... The first trailer for Coyote vs Acme has been posted. Relegated to the vault for a tax write off, grassroots buzz and efforts from fans and the film makers lead to Ketchup Entertainment (the same ones who saved last year's Day the Earth Blew Up) to...

Brush off the dust in here, boys. Production on The Batman Part 2 is starting to shift into gear for its October 1, 2027 release. Joining the cast is the Dent family: Scarlett Johansson will play the wife to Sebastian Stan's Harvey Dent with venerated actor Charles Dance playing Dent's father.

https://toynewsi.com/414-63162 Clayface is due October 27, and it will tie into the "main" DC film universe.
