I'd be curious what the percentage is of people who are very hesitant to use the transporter in "civilian" Federation society. It's seen as being pretty rare amongst Star Fleet (McCoy and Barclay being the only ones I can think of that have a real objection to it), but if you work on a star...

Traveling for work down to a factory where they build Transformers! But they must have been knock-offs, because these don't look anything like the current toyline. They are big, though.

There are a few in there that I skipped at full price that I might be tempted to buy as a BOGO type deal. Wish I could mix-and-match at my heart's desire, though, as it does seem like there aren't many sets that don't have one I already own.

I think Optimus would benefit from being colored like black-helmet Megatron. It would help break up the silver.

Inuk Chuk!

That was my first thought, too! I know that the texture wouldn't stand out nearly as much in real life, but the nature of close-up photography really gives this a "Vortex is going out L.A.R.P.ing" vibe.

Add that popped up at the top/bottom of the 'spark for me today: Who out there is wanting to scare their pets, and totally scare them at that? And how do I even get my pet to click on the link in the first place?

You know? That could actually work for them. With the upcoming Blokee Wheels, it shows that their not dead-set on always making figures, so I could see a bunch of blind-boxed "scenes" that can be put together like those Gundam Mechanical Chain Base things to make full-on bases. There could be...

My Jazz was also good. I don't think I ever had any trouble with the joints on my Alternators.

If I had my druthers (sadly, all but one were lost at sea, and the final one I lost in a high-stakes poker tournament), I would have preferred an Ark and Nemesis that transformed between ship and base/playset modes without a robot mode at all, but sadly the powers that be at Hasbro still don't...

Here I had been trying to come up with a good example of what kind of aesthetic I was meaning, and Alternators was there the whole time! Some Alternators are definitely more successful than others at turning an accurate car into a robot, but as a baseline style that you can throw millions of...

Happy Birthday! This place has been what I would consider my "home" on the internet for the past close-to-twenty years now. Thanks to everyone here for making it the bestest place to be.

I love Grimceptor, and I like to think that it's Perceptor doing research on the day-to-day lives of the Dinobots. By painting himself in their color scheme, they are completely oblivious to the intruder.

Supernintendo Chalmers: Aurora Borealis?! At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely in the country about a mile from your house? Me: Yes! SC: May I see it? Me: Yes!

Yeah, I think Nemesis'is'is'is's robot mode is actually pretty good. That said, I also have a deep love for spaceships, so her and the Ark spend the vast majority of their time as ships.

Keep in mind that I haven't seen Cloverfield Paradox yet, and haven't seen the first two Cloverfield movies since watching them the for the first and only time when they came out so my memories may not be 100% correct, but I think the ending of Cloverfield Lane works well enough. By the time...

Pretty sure that they were never meant to form any sort of coherent, continuing story. The "Cloverfield " movies are more of an anthology. More like episodes of Twighlight Zone than a film trilogy.

I've picked up a couple of those. They're not bad background scene filler type bots for $5, but they're not great, either. Plastic is shampoo-bottle grade and the paint is pretty sketchy. The helicopter and the jet are the best of the bunch. One thing that I will grant is that they all come...
