So...something I noticed. I'm specifically noting this as interesting as opposed to conspiracy theory. I was looking at the tech textures on the Starfall Islands and thought they looked kinda familiar. Then I realized that it's similar to the walls & floor of Space Station Ark and some of the...

High Intellectual Lucidas chuckled, "Some of you are more pleasant than others. I simply have to ask, why are you so pressed for time that you would come out in a storm like this?"

We're also getting more of Tipsy Tulip's setup right now. I still feel mixed on how she ended up. The threat of the role she has did get built up, while her physical presence got muted due to the other threats the players faced, yet she managed not to get the jobber treatment early campaign so...

Everyone rushed up the ladder and into the storm. They could now see that the top of the vessel was uneven, though the area they were in seemed like a valley. Presumably, they were at the center of the ship. Ahead was a large glass dome. Sue'zhan shouted, "That must be manual override! We...

"I'm Here" is the official opening song for Sonic Frontiers. While a lot of people are praising it, am I the only one who feels underwhelmed by it? It's fine on a technical level but I found it to be the least hype reveal for Frontiers. It's very possible that I'm simply not in the target...

With great Viknadian strength, Dee broke the hatch clean off its hinges. While edges were mildly frosting from her cold touch, some could feel a different kind of chill as the rainwater from the storm rushed in. Sue'zhan shouted, "Everyone get ready! We're going to have to move fast with how...

Finished Sonic Underground. The thing I found the most fascinating was the worldbuilding. Pity that the writers attempted took the "don't finish things out to gamble on getting a season two" approach. There were definite attempts to set things up for later. Though there were times I got the...

Striking the hatch with Sunderblade will permanently break it. Just making sure that's what you want to do.

You might be on to something. It was mentioned that they were calling it "Open Zone" instead of open world since they wanted to focus on action instead of RPG elements. It's wholly possible that "Metrovania but outdoors" is the actual goal but there's no actual language for that.

Explainer video with more actual footage:

You only got half of that right. The hardcore fans might be massive promoters who bring a lot of passion and can spearhead incredible things but most sales come from casuals due to sheer weight of numbers. Especially since Sonic is a mainstream series instead of something obscure...

After traversing through multiple corridors, the group came to a dead end with a ladder leading up to a hatch. The rain from the storm could be heard drumming on the outside. Sue'zhan typed a code into her tablet and an audible click could be heard from above. Then nothing. A confused Sue'zhan...

God of War is one of the more interesting wrinkles. I've seen people talking about it and it might not be a big issue. While this Sonic game is skewing slightly older than some of the more recent ones, it may be a situation similar to the movies where the target audiences between the two...

I'm not so sure on lack of options. The combat system is looking pretty robust. Now, fans will be disappointed (Tails is my favorite character) but the game is looking more and polished the more stuff revealed other than that early IGN preview. That said, I'm just one opinion.

It's been confirmed that only Sonic will be playable in Sonic Frontiers. However, all signs point to Sonic's friends actually being important to the story instead of window dressing.

As far as Patch could tell, she had not come this way previously. Sue'zhan replied to Dee, "Then we're likely going to the right since the closest manual override is near or on the surface. Unless anyone has other insights."

Yeah, mostly. I get where it comes from but Sleet and Dingo have a pretty overt leader & subordinate vibe that adds a unique wrinkle to things compared to most other henchmen duos that are usually on the same level. That and the fact that they much rather be free agents than henchmen.

Dee could see that the two hallways looked like most of the other hallways they already passed. However, the one on the left slightly descended down while the one on the right slightly ascended up.

Started Sonic Underground and things are interesting. The songs in the episodes are harmless and without lyrics some of them are a simple remix away from working as game music. There are two things that are standing out to me so far. First, while I often hear of Sleet & Dingo being compared to...

Perhaps but there's two things. Sonic's more popular in America than Japan. But more importantly, by crossing 439 million Sonic 2 now is the highest grossing videogame movie in the world. Out of curiosity, where do you get your box office numbers? The places I was looking weren't showing Japan.
