Not just TF '07. That was an Armada thing, too. Also Animated, mostly. As much as I like clear distinctions between the two factions, it almost never really lasts.

I wonder if it's a carryover from Cyclonus's "armada"-- it's reasonable to assume that at one point he was supposed to have his own troops like Scourge did, and the Movie wasn't done yet when Season 3 was starting production. And somehow the color people heard there's only one Cyclonus now when...

    Studio Series discussion

Kranix is wonderful. I never thought I'd see a transforming Lithonian. I didn't believe the leak until we had pictures. But here we are, and it's great. Hopefully we'll get a comics adaptation redeco, and an Arblus remold, and a Shattered Glass version with a BFG, or at least Cliffjumper's...

Part of the issue (and yes, I am taking a joke seriously because there's some truth in it) is that Hollywood budgets are outsized. Godzilla Minus One reportedly cost much much less than a comparable American film and it was fantastic.

I botched the quote anyway, so clearly this G1 was very slightly different before this scene already.

I'm moderately willing to collect ones that have colors that match existing teams/subgroups. The Jaguars have teal-based uniforms that could be a decent match for G2 Cybertronians.

"I have gathered you here for a purpose..." *flips off Megatron holographically; leaves without elaborating* *rest of the movie is a full hour of Megatron's shocked face*

Wasn't Breakdown released in Legacy (not Evolution) packaging anyway? IIRC they do that with "repacks" now (instead of obvious packaging variants). I mean, yeah, it is and it isn't.

I like how it's so on the nose. A lot (if not 99.9%+) of the miscolorings are (apparently) one guy being mistaken for another so here's one spaceship guy being mistaken for the other spaceship guy. I absolutely love these, now that I have an appreciation for them as mistakes and not pure...

Aw, yeah, that's the stuff. I never had Fort Max, so I can never remember/appreciate how big he actually is. Once again I ask for a subline of Big Guys as mostly Deluxes. Except for the base/playset aspect, few of them *need* to be that big. I do have that 3-part mini-Fort Max, and it's...

Armada Unicron was pretty big, too. It'd be nice to have a picture with several of the 'biggest for their time' (and other notable ones, like G1 Devastator, who is less impressive than the media would have you think) together. Side-by-sides of toys ten or more years apart can be wild.
