Just cancelled Nemesis. Still mulling the others over. I hate gambling on later availability. Been burned on that front too many times. Big Convoy and Razorclaw both seem like candidates to postpone, though.

I think I'm striking out. There is indeed a Destripe filter in GIMP. However, while it seems like it does a decent job of reducing the stripes on the blacks, it adds stripes on the lighter colors in doing so. See the example below. The strength of the effect can be adjusted. The higher you turn...

A quick google search backs up my guess that there should be a way to reduce or remove such artifacts using Photoshop or GIMP. E.g., in GIMP, there's apparently a Destripe filter, or other filters you could manually configure and play around with. My skills and experience are limited with GIMP...

I didn't order Jalopy, but do have Quintus, Quickstrike, and Barricade on the way from Pulse. Also got notices that Big Convoy, Razorclaw, Soundwave, Nemesis, Brawl, and Airachnid are all supposed to ship next week. o_O

So Bonecrusher stole Scavenger's chest plate and Scrapper's name?

Mega Man 12 is coming! Not till 2027, though. Doesn't look like they're officially calling it MM12. Instead, it's Mega Man Dual Override. However, the opening hallway sequence indicates it's the 12th Mega Man game. Check out the screens on either side of the hallway, and the big 12 on...

I went to check Sideways's wiki page to remind myself exactly how all his heads looked in the show. After doing so, I have to ask: Why, exactly, is the guy who spent all of maybe 30 seconds on screen, with about 5 of that in robot mode and another 5 getting bisected, considered a "major...

Netflix and HBO Max are the two streaming services I get the most use out of, so I'm curious to see how that eventual merger shakes out. The biggest thing I hope for is that they get rid of Zaslav as soon as possible. One other thing I'd really like to see is to revisit the DCEU. I don't mean...

I'm really looking forward to playing MP4, but I never did get around to MP3. I'd like to finally play that first. My Wii currently isn't hooked up, though. Have it prepped to add an HDMI output to it, just need to clear out my work area. I'm done with work for the year after Friday, so I'm...

He looks fantastic. Just like Megatron, if I could afford it, I would be all over this. Sadly, there's just no way I could swing it right now. And even if I could afford the listed price... tariffs. Still though, the end of the trailer, with the five Robosen bots having a battle? Pure joy!

Bruticus does look a bit goofy, but I think he'll go well with the rest of the post-PWT Generations 'cons, so he'll still be joining them on my shelf next year. Definitely makes it an even easier decision to stick with UW for any potential Ruination, though. I would still love to get a Battle...

Most of my games are in storage crates, but I did just get some shelves in one of our display cases organized. I like to group games by series when possible rather than by system. These are some of my absolute favorites. When I think of series that I absolutely love, that I've poured a ton of...

I'll take both. And neither's replacing the one I already have...

Yes, that's the same trailer.

Confirmed, two specials releasing on Paramount+ on December 5th, billed as the "epic conclusion of Transformers: EarthSpark".

I don't know this for a fact, but I suspect weight may also not be useful in this case. I've seen where other blind-boxed items in the past have contained weights in some boxes that served no purpose other than to make it more difficult to determine what's in the box by weight. Lighter items...

I already mentioned not counting releases that require a day one patch to run. I'm not sure if you're saying the same thing here, or expanding that category to include other games too. I mean, I guess I'd broadly group physical games as follows: Games that won't run without a download. I...

I'm not aware of any methodology to figure out which one's in the box. If you order a specific one off eBay, what you're buying is a box that's been opened up to check the character card or instructions inside to see what it is. In early waves, where the character card was packed inside the...

For whatever it's worth, I've seen MANY toys over the years that have that sort of swirl appearance and have no signs of anything like GPS. Toys with GPS issues do often have that sort of appearance, but it's not a 1:1 correlation. I don't have a HasLab Omega Prime to check and give you any...

This is completely missing the point. Aside from Nytetrayn's point about saving system storage space, it's not about where the code runs from. It's about ownership of the game. A functional physical copy is something that will always just work. There's no authorization or download required from...
