I would love to see an Armada comic that doesn't have to rush to keep up with the toyline changing over to Energon. Let the Minicons be characters instead of just Macguffins.
But then the spin is that them filthy Demonrats are blocking Glorious Leader from giving out free money. Right before midterms. The timing is not an accident.
The original toy also had big chunks of planet shell that just hung off the wings in robot mode, so that's not really a huge departure.
But, since I still had the original, I have no use for this anyway.
He waited until his approval ratings tanked from all of his latest idiocy. He didn't care about them until he decided he could maybe use another mob of disposable morons. This is a bribe to them and a threat to everyone else.

While he was from some G1 or G1-adjacent universe (since it had Mini-cons; Over-Run came from that universe, too), Dreamwave Armada Unicron can't be from another universe we know about, because in his home universe, he won. He was literally in the process of devouring his Cybertron while his...
Armada needed more time to actually finish and proofread the script, but otherwise it wasn't bad.
Energon had neat ideas, but never followed up on any of them. And the animation is painful.

If Sentinel had the full Apex Armor rig he had in Megatron Origin, I might be interested, but as is, I'm not seeing enough value for the price tag. A disk for displaying parts from a bunch of other toys, several of which I have no interest in buying, doesn't do it for me.
Checked nother Burlington today. Aside from the same two-pack as my last post, they also had SS86 Galvatron for $19.99. Warwick, RI, if anyone's nearby.
