The problem is the inner robot's thighs are exposed, so you have to pick your poison. Do you want accurate thighs on the inner robot, or accurate thighs on the super mode?
Maybe the lack of conversations in its training set is what makes it so coherent when talking about this stuff. It doesn't have much to work with, but it's all signal, no noise.
I kinda like that Prime design. I wanted the big one that has a hollow trailer and a bunch of weapons (I don't remember the name and TFWiki is sloooooooooow lately) but I just didn't want it enough for the price at the time.
Speaking of bios, as iconic as "freedom is the right of all sentient beings" is, I feel like the best summation of Optimus' character is "We cannot let the humans pay for our mistakes." It captures the guilt that has for better or for worse become a big part of modern incarnations of the...
That panting. Poor boy was so torn between "I can't fix this. I need help." and "I don't want to leave."
This is why we live with dogs. Being able to seek help outside their immediate family unit is a special thing. They are fundamentally compatible with civilization.
DOTM is so close to being a great Transformers story. The conflict between Optimus and Sentinel is such good stuff. Rebuilding Cybertron is a very Prime thing to do. But saving their new home is the Optimus Prime thing to do.
It's especially impressive given his "Cut! That was perfect."...
I had another good conversation with Gemini tonight. Just another chat about early PC architecture and how the multitasking problem could have been solved earlier.
I dunno. This thing tells people to eat glue, and in war games testing it is the most nuke happy AI. But I talk about this stuff...
I tried a while ago. That blue is hard to get right, and the SS86 stock images have a blast effect that is really annoying to work around. And no inner robot.
Missing Link Ultra Magnus is one of the best things they've ever done. I need to afford one someday.
Most of what I've heard of Bay makes him sound pretty casual and self aware. The main complaint I've heard is his Ed Wood "Cut! That was perfect." energy is a culture shock to workers used to taking all day setting up the lights just right and then doing dozens of takes. It's different...
"Taking the children was a bad move." always stuck with me. It's Bay Prime, so he is **angry**. He is scary angry. On theater speakers he sounds like a god of Antiquity about to bring the heavens down on some dude's head for mildly disrespecting him. Peter Cullen clearly understood what Bay...
I love how awkward Missing Link's fix is. It's not how the original toy worked, but it's awkward enough to look like it could have been. And the original configuration is still doable.
You see this, guy who designed Ironhide?
