Vi's journey through retro future space

I never even attempted to understand the fiction. I took one look at it and noped out, loved the figures though. Great line.

    Lego and other brick toys

If you're in the Midwest, my local Meijer had a bunch of the March releases out and in the system available to buy, so it might be worth checking their own local Meijer if anyone's looking for anything from those releases. Saw some of the new Star Wars sets, Animal Crossing sets, Technic sets...

The concept of one of Lego's botanical flower sets opening up into Isabela's room is just *chef's kiss* Give that designer a raise Those pieces were used as eyes for a species of Bionicle monsters called Bohroks.

"I'll just buy one" the last sane word of the squish collector. I have a pile of children. Also we found the Skullgrin/Dead End 2 pack on deep discount at $7, and while Dead End is what I expected (goodish but compromised due to being a combiner limb) - I remember hearing almost nothing but...

Lol. I mean I can always just go to that restaurant again, it's only like 40 minutes away. But no, seriously, I wish I'd taken a photo. It was legitimately the best steak I've ever had in any form factor. They just stuffed, and I mean STUFFED, a tortilla with the most delicious steak I've ever...

*Lays on her back and stares at the ceiling while thinking of the quesadilla she just had* How am I ever going to eat any other steak now? I'm ruined.

And my literal next stop while toy hunting found me the cutest stuffed dog I may have ever seen. Which I couldn't resist.

Adorable. Is it meant to be a hippogriff? Speaking of adorable, Target has their own line of fairly nice plush and these little fuzzy monsters are kinda fantastic.

And this I did. I bought the other two sets that are under 85 that are out right now. Only buying the more expensive sets if they go on sale or I actually do sell some things. Out of 4 sets, only one had stickers and they were minimal so really impressed with how premium these all feel.

Oh. I'm not actually planning on selling anything, probably.

Vi's journey through retro future space

I mean it KINDA is... I got the Interstellar Spaceship and the 4+ set (cause it matched the other and is genuinely the best 4+ set I've ever seen) and now I'm craving more. Also apparently they're doing a mini figure blind bag set later this year that's space themed, which includes some...

I need someone to talk me out of selling things I own so I can buy more of the Lego City Space sets. I can't even describe the insane nostalgic itch these new sets are scratching in my brain.

He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Found and picked up Mouse-Jaw today. Confirmed my worst fears. That being this line is going to kill my wallet, because he's freaking awesome. The Metal-Boto parts are all compatible with him as well, which is honestly really nice since it means if you weren't getting all the build a figure...

The Ever Popular, "What Are You Playing" Thread!

I really need to try and finish the Pokemon DLC, but I've become waylaid by building things in LEGO Fortnite, and the Guardians of the Galaxy game I picked up on clearance, which so far is WAY better than it has any right being. So that, mostly.
