Ooh! Something I DID notice though was when Martinez leaped in we did in fact see the leap effect.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but did we not see a cliffhanger of Martinez in the reflection of Addison implying that he leaped into her and it was never followed up on or am I dreaming?
I think over time the leapout has gotten a little better with subtle changes. I admit, I usually notice stuff like the hologram messing with the "real world" but I totally missed her ever doing that. I need to start paying better attention.
It was pretty cool because the leap effect was red. Also, that's another thing the old show did better. These reboot leap effects look and sound awful compared to the iconic original look and sound.
Insane asylum episodes always give me anxiety because the idea of being locked up in a place like that has always been kind of an underlying fear I've had.
This episode was interesting but the leap to help a person was definitely the b plot here compared to the main story of Leaper X and the...
I have a lot to say about the show but I've been too busy to be around much.
But I will say Jenn is a much better hologram companion than Addison. The foil to Ben's good nature is more akin to Sam and Al's chemistry.
Making Ben give that girl 50 dollars to win a horse race was hilarious and...

I think the people on the runaway train have no idea how to operate a train at this point. I don't think an unmodified SRD 5.1 was intentional but I also don't know if I'd risk using those creatures in a publication since none of the descriptions or stat blocks are in the SRD, just the improper...
I never took a position on whether or not to boycott the movie. I didn't think it was really going to affect the future of the game company in any meaningful way.
I think as far as the ttrpg base is concerned (Which like it or not, is WotC's target audience) they've had an awakening. People...
-89% are dissatisfied with deauthorizing OGL 1.0a
-88% do not want to publish content under OGL 1.2
That type of blowback is almost unprecedented. The survey isn't even over yet!
I know!! WTF? I was not expecting this but I guess I didn't know what I was expecting since they had to do something besides double down on these bad practices.
I don't know what to think about this. I definitely still don't have any faith in what they've done but putting 5.1 in the creative...
I'm not completely sold on the ORC. Not because I think it won't be well crafted, I believe it will, I just feel it goes back to the original mindset of the fact is that nobody really *needs* a license to publish a game. My assumption is that it's going to cover a variety of different rules but...
Well I figured Diablo did it and Magic Arena does it so it's hard to say. In reality it will probably just be a desktop service since the new VTT (that isn't D&D Beyond) is in the Unreal Engine
By the way, after 10 years of working on my super hero game I'm working on a brand new game with its own system and setting. It's very unique but I'm not far enough along to say more. I considered using the OGL again but now I'm glad I'm not.
