Baz Lhurmann's Romeo and Juliet (the one with the modern setting but original dialogue) definitely has its black comedy moments. China Girl (another modern setting take, straight-to-video) does play up the tragedy more, especially in how it gives a Hope Spot at the end but then has the "girl"...

Dreamwave's Armada #1-5 was a slow burn reboot comic done well. Then the To Sell Toys mandate kicked in, but at least they got Simon Furman to handle Unicron, as he does. He and Sarracini also developed the Mini-Cons a bit more as well, where they weren't just PokeMacGuffins popping out of...

Ramen manners, or "You must unlearn what you have learned".

Order up! For Episode IV, the gang (sans Kinger this time) spends a day working at Spudsy's, an eerily familiar fast food restaurant. (Shirts available at digitalcircus.store!) See Gangle lead a work crew, with the help of a brand new mask! Meanwhile, Pomni encounters a familiar face, Ragatha...

I often suggested Mainframe could have solved at least some of their struggles getting funding for Beasties (as the CRTC was often complaining that the show was not fulfilling Canadian content requirements) if they agreed to make similar shorts involving Waspinator. 🐝 The cube compactor could...

It's funny, because that was listed as a possible future life path by my ex early in her post secondary education (and our relationship). She didn't leave for the local woods, as things turned out....

TFWiki was code-forked from Teletraan 1 on Wikia back in September 2008. Teletraan 1 languished for a while but is rebuilding, my understanding is that generally the new contributors endeavour to not use TFWiki's articles as the basis for their own even with the CC-BY-SA Creative Commons License...

Heck, I'd happily copy my fan-made content over to Miraheze or Shoutwiki if (a) I thought anyone would build upon it, and (b) Shoutwiki was allowing new builds.

It wasn't this one, was it? 😉 Granted that was a while back, but yes, as the Classic and a prequel Trilogy eras get mined out, and as High Republic and Sequel trilogy reactions make Lucasfilm skittish about trying different eras, a retread of Thrawn's War seems likely. TVC's Luuke Skywalker...

Okay, here's Episode 3, "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor"! (Rated "Aaaaah!" for Mature!) In which Kinger reveals more about himself, Zooble's therapy session takes an unexpected turn, and Pomni hits bottom but sees an unexpected light.

More episodes will be shown here, but first... When The Amazing Digital Circus made its debut two years ago (already?!), it got a lot of attention across the fragmented Internet. I won't be showing the content mills (which no doubt reacted to the colourful designs), but here's a brief review...

Sounds familiar....

I don't know if pasting this here will reach this those that would benefit most from it, but I do what I can. I started investing (in funds as opposed to import toys) in late 2000, in part to have something to look forward to for a future that seemed increasingly bleak. (And if only I knew, I...

Between that and Obi-wan having defeated and exiled the King of the Sand People a few years later, it's really no surprise those youths reacted as they did. Of course, that too would have repercussions in the future....
