It tends to be a cause for concern when the plan starts out as "just the tip", but things... go further

I mean more that someone could just AI up a bunch of their own mockups and make them slightly blurry and janky and apply other familiar leak tropes. But yes, hopefully more character variety. (minimizes window with CoffeeHorse's "Til All Are Grandus" project)

I'm leery of this AI leak stuff. But then I guess it's one way to obfuscate things in the event of leaks, not that that's super needed these days anyway. (This is definitely intriguing for, say, April Fools Day, but generating AI art I'm even more leery of.) In any case, it's a new level of...

There's room for variety. Even Cybertronian beasts can run quite the gamut. The Terrorcons have an orthrus, a bird, a two-headed dragon, a bipedal shark, and a nose goblin.

All of this is welcome.

No budget for that paint app = casting entire barrel in that color. Besides, the more orange, the more safety, I guess.

All of this is welcome.

But not Safety Prime. Hmm, that's an easy thing to make from SS86 Prowl...

Iirc the Galaxy range does have similar ball joint and 5mm hand grip sizes to, say, the Sesame Street ones. Idk about Galaxy S. I hope someone there stumbles upon the goldmine of Mega Man Defender versions soon. The Robot Masters will call for unique tooling, but for weaponed up Mega Man...

I don't know that "geared to collectors" in 1997 means the same thing that "geared to collectors" means in 2026, and the comparison is a little odd to even make. In 1997 they were clearly targeting people who wanted trukk, not munky, by giving them trukk, not munky. That was as "collector" as...

Post-Galvatron recovery Megatron

Man, I miss the Cybertron Enquirer.

It has done this for me, mainly at Defender scale. Everything else, including Wheels, is above the price that makes that easy. But the blind boxing has definitely held me back from going all in; about half of my Defender version stuff has been acquired secondhand/opened, with the other half...

No one's discounting the quality and appeal of the mold or the color scheme. The question is whether it fits as a remake of a jet whose few known defining features include being three times this jet's size. It is a great jet design that looks great in MW Starscream's great color scheme. It is...

It would've been cool to see the Predators and Turbomasters, but I always say that. Maybe the unused but available Spychangers would have showed up years before Car Robots dusted those molds off, or the Autorollers (but this would be right around BW2). Hell, maybe they'd try to be bold and do a...

I remember this, and it was a cool idea, it I have no idea how people felt about paying convention prices -- let alone aftermarket prices -- for it. It helped that it was packed in with an Ultra, but still. The story overall I felt was good, including the use of Obsidian and Strika...

I wouldn't have minded that, but if the theme is Machine Wars and they already did the other pickup...

I mean it was competent and safe and solid, which is great (especially given other convention type things of the period). I'm just figuring, that's probably better outsourced to people whose primary expertise is that.

Holy crap. I am very tempted by this.

Also... I don't even know what Galaxy Version S is (edit: apparently it's an improved 10cm kit), but DO DEFENDER VERSION, YOU COWARDS
