Yeah, I feel pretty strongly that this stuff doesn't belong in this thread, both on general anti-AI principle and because this is the thread where we share news about real toys that are going to exist.

I assume New Prime will be a partial of one of the existing Primes. Hasbro will reuse some of this Prime's parts, along with some other new parts, and reconstruct another Prime, and rename it New Prime.

I think this ties into what lastmaximal said about firsthand experience. I would imagine more people have seen AoE than listened to the KP radio dramas, by an order of magnitude at least, and so the person snarking about Transformers is more likely to think of AoE as a movie normal people...
