Oh, I thought it meant they were getting rid of passwords to log into the computer itself. How are they going to "force" every website on the internet to abandon passwords in favor of however this works? And is it only going to apply if you're using Edge, which nobody actually does?
I'm unclear how a PIN is any less stealable than a password. Obviously they can't mandate biometrics because Windows is (for now) capable of being installed on desktop computers, which have no built-in cameras or fingerprint scanners, so this is arguably a step backward for those users.
Really? I was under the impression that wikis generally are under a "Yeah everything here's free to use, whatever" license. And if that's not the case, then what's the legal basis for the maintainers of one wiki to just leave and copy everything over to another one?

Nintendo: We want the StarFox series to be a vessel for exploring new ideas in 3D gameplay, and the main reason we stopped making new games is that we've run out of new ideas to try
Also Nintendo: remakes the first game in the series more times than they make or publish new games

This doesn't surprise me. When an industry is said to be consuming enough energy to power entire countries but then giving most of their services away for free, the math isn't mathing.
At the rate this story is devolving, by this time tomorrow we're liable to find out that there never even was a shooter and the whole story was fabricated.
And anyway he's already building the damn ballroom, so he's not even getting anything out of this. If he were trying to use this as pretense to have more of his critics put on watch lists or worse, that would be sus (on top of being bad for the obvious reasons). As it is, we're not any worse off...
I suddenly feel fortunate that both of my parents have zero ambitions or aspirations whatsoever besides being able to afford their own retirement. And that I seem to have inherited that gene from them. All those movies with the message of "follow your dreams" never mention how badly it turns out...
I like to imagine owners of real casinos hearing about this and thinking "You mean we've been wasting billions of dollars on real cash payouts when this whole time there are loads of people who'd just as gladly keep throwing their money away just for a shot at a pat on the back and a hearty...
