I am still trying to get that Zelda Pro Controller. Gamestop is a bust, but I might be able to get one at the launch event at Best Buy. I just want to get one before Christmas so my kids will have enough controllers to play the Switch 2.

    1988 Minibot Equivalents

I never trust those inflation calculators. They always seem to make it look less of a jump than it was. I mean, do you really think that a person with $60 can buy as much food today as someone could on 1984 with $20?

    Upcoming Live-Action Film Rumors

If you just change the names, then no the film doesn’t get magically better. You have to take away focus from the while Sam, parents, and Megan fox. Give focus to the kids, and show off some of their abilities and vehicles. I do like the thought experiment about a TF franchise post phase 1 of...

I like that idea! Maybe even blind box them with a seal package of random options from a large pool of accessories. That way you never know what you might get!

    Studio Series discussion

That Goldbug is a pretty nice, and I don't think I have a modern version of that, so I will be getting it. Red Alert, looks pretty nice, and I will be adding him to my G1 shelf, replacing/upgrading his CHUG toy. The Cassettes are a must have for me, but I don't like that they are going to be...

    1988 Minibot Equivalents

I did find some interesting pics though of the prices. This ad has the Scramble city limbs on sale for $3.33. Maybe that meant that they were closer to $5 back in the day? It looks like the cassette packs were on sale for $5 in this ad from later on in the line. There is also this UK ad...

    1988 Minibot Equivalents

I did find another price stickered G1 toy, this time from Kmart, and it was $2.97. The problem is that we don't know if that was a regular price or a sale price. However, given tha all the things we have seen so far, I am inclined to believe that they were around $3 usd.

    1988 Minibot Equivalents

Well, in 1984, according to the Sears' Wishbook, Deluxe Autobots were $10, Soundwave was $16, Seekers were $13, and Optimus and Megatron were both $23. So with these prices, I can imagine that the little ones could have been $5 at times. 1985 prices at Sears weren't any lower: In 1986...
