It looks okay. Like something I'd play at a friend's house or something but not something I'd actually buy. The new designs are pretty good but some people who have early opies are saying the story's even more convoluted than the original somehow, which is an achievement in and of itself.

Personally, I think the robot mode's proportions are too "cool" or generic mecha. Would have preferred something more cartoony like the tank mode. Still preordered one since I sunk way too much cash into those damn machines back in the day.

Got assigned to work at the radiation unit. Despite what picturebooks tell you, all the irradiated spiders here end up dying.

Predaking would be relatively easy as they have decent toys to use as a base with some proportional or sculpting cleanups, matbe find a way to hide the tail. I’m more interested in seeing how they handle characters with less adequate toys like Airachnid, Knockout and to a lesser extent Ratchet.

To be fair, nearly everyone blatantly size-changes on Prime. Comparing the tires on Bumblebee or Bulkhead in either mode to the humans is insane. And of course, Arcee whose motorcycle mode would be about the size of her leg If they get around to Predaking, they’ll probably stick to robot scale...

From what I’ve seen of dodgy Chinese ebay sellers, most start out legit to build up a customer base before “going rogue” and running off with the money.

It’s certainly a lot better than the Earthrise mild though, I wish the pink and gray were a bit more saturated. She looks somewhat washed out

IIRC, Takara TM Megs doesn't have GPS because Hasbro had dark metallic brown and they had plain black plastic Yeah but it's smaller, I didn't buy the other voyager and Cryotek colors are real pretty. Might be stockholm syndrome

I sold my Dragonfire off and kept the Cryotek colored Voyager one. Crappy dragonhead guns aside, it’s okay but the soft plastic suuuucks

Beast Fire is overall better TBH, aside from the shitty gimmickry. The dragon neck being immobile outside of the levers is annoying but the voyager doesn’t have much more movement either. Of course, uf space is the issue the ginormous wingspan doesn’t help with that at all

i didn’t mind the mismatch between Kickback and Shrapnel since they were still in the same ballpark. Bombshell on the other hand, was orange in comparison

I borrowed a copy of 15 but it was boring. 10 was probably the last one I mostly enjoyed and even that had its problems
