I can tolerate the original ARmada Screamer's wing sword since it also has to turn into a wing. I kinda hate the triangle they packed him with.
The technoorganic sculpting on this unofficial Terrorcon set fits right in with Megs. He's making friends!
The colors will tend to be off on the smokey gray clear plastic parts because light still partially shines through. Kind of like ER Sunstreaker but not quite as bad.
If the reader’s mind immediately goes to a lewd interpretation of a single word in the context of a forum post about a toy robot’s colors, that sounds like their problem, not mine.
That’s like, Beavis and Butthead level of discourse.
Dragon Megs is great, aside from the godawful mustard plastic that won't take paint.
Armada Starscream is a bit of a disappointment. Robot mode's fine but transformation tends to get parts in the way of each other.
Still trying to source an inferno
Huh, Starscream's biceps slide along a pin to center them with respect to the shoulder for robot mode. That's not a technique we see much on official toys.
Sorry boss.
Well-articulated and toleranced overall but dragon mode is very gappy. Robot mode also has the dragon chest just hanging there. Tail is also on the looser side and the way that the port is in the mouth, the fire effect never sits straight.
Wiki says this came out in 2003. I assume those are meant to be yellow but the coloring makes them look a bit on the green side. The MP-01 repaint was then released in 2005. Maybe a hugged up game of telephone?
Wasn't it because of Dreamwave?
Had the red/blue original version but a cousin or something broke it and the only replacement they could buy by that time was the powerlinx version. I kind of like the concept, being more or less regular Optimus colors but distributed differently. It's the sort...
The lightsaber probably would have failed regardless of who it belonged to. $500 is insane and as I understand, the roleplay segment of the fandom isn't as big as the figure collectors.
As long as the transformers campaigns focus on making mainline but with more bells and whistles, it should do...
Regular Optimus already has a lot of red. Adding a bit more red doesn't change him much.
I dunno, between that and the trailer being lame and a barren winter wasteland, not feeling it.
