Yeah, basically it was ostensibly a sort of soft reboot of sorts, so they kept it on the leaner side. Which is disappointing, as Proto Man or especially Bass DLC would have been great. Especially if they were going to take so damn long to follow it up.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that. I loved that episode as a result. What's funny about the storybooks is that, IIRC, the rest were all based on episodes of the '80s cartoon.

If memory serves, they went way over budget on RPM, and switched producers mid-season. That episode was probably a cost-saving measure that still allowed them to fulfill their ordered episode requirements.

Ahhhhh, okay. Thanks! Yeah, that makes a ton of sense. It actually looks surprisingly... okay-ish, maybe? It doesn't look like GOTY or anything, but as a little time-wasting mobile game, it has enough charm and references and that unique Ranger cheesiness to make it seem kind of endearing...
