  1. Transformers Legacy toyline

Eh, I have doubts that, besides being the newest, THAT much from the past 3-4 years is overtly going to be called "better" than a prior iteration of the character (assuming they've gotten one in the past...15 odd years). This one is DIFFERENT, and as a representation of the cartoon models and...
  2. Transformers Legacy toyline

You mean Cyberverse? Either way, both are just G1 Wheeljack without a faceplate. About the only really interesting version of Wheeljack we haven’t seen (and could TOTALLY be done without much effort) would be Armada Wheeljack. And I’m not sure the current team has the…interest…in doing him...
  3. Transformers Legacy toyline

https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/03/21/transformers-legacy-wave-4-deluxe-voyager-product-numbers-found-452136 So, I guess "package refresh" is going to continue be a big thing across all price points going forward (though, we didn't get the Starscream Voyager refresh). That said, I question...
  4. TMM Hungers: The Next Course

*Me looking through the image set* That’s a nice interpretation of the main super robot…..OMFG IT TRANSFORMS AND COMBINES!!!!
  5. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

TBH, it would probably be the biggest "thing" he's done in years. I don't expect it...but Marvel can always surprise us.
  6. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Masteverse BA He-Man, He-Ro and She-Ra look fantastic to me. They all offer a strong classic look with just enough updated make them feel fresh. I was hoping to cut back, but Mattel is really rocking it with the Masters of the Universe this year. Makes me sad that the GI Joe team seems to be...
  7. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

The 200x Skeletor head looks a bit off to me. I think it's something to do with how they're trying to emphasize the "fangs". It's something that might look better in a final in hand image. 200x He-Man looks nice enough for what they're trying...but I'm actually more excited at the prospect of...
  8. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

These look like parts of the weaponizer 2 packs. Prime and Primal both look like they have enough compromises to fit the $15-ish price point with a beast target master. I'm wondering if the individuals will be the "named characters" with the 2 packs being repaints with new names. Both look...
  9. Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Missing Link? Is this The Wand of Gamelon?

I finally completed my retro Headmaster Autobot set! Had to spend extra to get Highbrow from BBTS, but the $32 was better than the going rate from everyone else. Heck, if I had known they had sets of waves 1 and 2 for about $30 each, I might have just got them all.
  10. Transformers Legacy toyline

Might be time to step up to dedicated collector shops like BBTS or Entertainment Earth or Pulse then. Of course, given my local stores don’t carry the full product range and are seeming at the ass end of distribution, I’ve resigned myself to those sources for years now.
  11. The Batman Will Rise in March 2022!

Yes, because the last 15 odd years of Batman films have all been rainbows and sunshine
  12. Obi-Wan Kenobi - streaming on Disney+

I'm just disappointed Jason Isaacs didn't come back for the Grand Inquisitor role.
  13. Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

I fully expect this to be cross platform. The question is if the Switch will get a physical release...
  14. The Batman Will Rise in March 2022!

To be fair, the comic Batman has seen a "power creep" as bad as any other popular character (Wolverine, especially in the films, got really OP). I think this film was REALLY good at finding a nice medium at showing him being EXTREMELY capable all around (as a fighter, a detective, an engineer)...
  15. The Repaint Concept Thread

Looking at Sorohan’s repaint charts just remind me of this:
  16. The Batman Will Rise in March 2022!

I’m on a mobile, so I’ll have to slap a video later….but I recall a LOT of people were bothered by the “jet engine/rocket” on a rather regular looking car. In the film, it makes it MUCH clearer that the Batmobile is a highly customized muscle car, and the “blue flame” is VERY similar to nitrous...
  17. Pixar’s Starcom toys aka Lightyear toys

I wasn’t planning to start a thread about toys for the upcoming Pixar film Lightyear. We all assumed there would be toys, obviously. The usual stuff like a big feature figure, a 5 inch “XL” series that features some cross play features, Imaginext…the usual movie tie in stuff. But I didn’t...
  18. Studio Series discussion

Hasbro bumped prices across the board. Seemed to go in to effect with the spring assortments that are going into preorder now. Core: 11.99 Deluxe: 24.99 (and applies to all of Hasbro's 6" collector lines) Voyager 33.99 Leader: 52.99 (and may yet hit 54.99 by the end of the year)
  19. The Batman Will Rise in March 2022!

FWIW, all the riddles in that sequence were used in the assorted trailers. I agree it got a touch long. The ending, in particular, felt a little bloated for the messaging I think they were trying to convey. But until that point? I ADORED IT. It’s a wonderful pulpy-noir detective thriller...
