  1. Transformers Legacy toyline

Sadly, my absolute favorites were Thunder Mayhem and Wreckage, from the TFSS. I sold them because I needed a tumor out much more than I needed toys, but I know I'm not likely to ever see their like again. They looked equally awesome combined or seperated, I'm glad I took a plot of pictures...
  2. How have you collecting habits changed in recent years?

One thing that's sort of set me back a bit, I admit, is gas prices. I don't live too close to any store, so the old 'pop out to see what's there' now costs as much as a figure or two, on the low end. I just can't keep that up. It was easier to do it when there was a Target right next to where...
  3. How have you collecting habits changed in recent years?

I've been getting a lot less, partially because I have so MUCH and in many cases I don't see the new stuff as an upgrade. Also, my nephew who lives next door to me has become much MORE interested in Transformers, and he's buying some of his own. By letting him borrow from my stuff while picking...
  4. Transformers Legacy toyline

Well, Superion had the 'planes stuck on the backs of the arms and lower legs' look many times, but I don't see them trying that in a toy, simply because Silverbolt can't haul a trailer, unless they put a Skylynx-style 'carrier pod' of some sort under him.

Didn't turn out quite as well as I'd like... But this worked!
  6. Ghostbusters General

One thing I do wonder (and I will have to find out second hand as I don't have the money) is if there is any sort of hose to connect the wand to the pack? After all, they are sort of a 'set', and I'd expect most who order the pack to either already have the gun part or are ordering one now...
  7. WFC Kingdom Appreciation Thread

"Eject, eject! Operation: Ejection!" -But Eject objects, rejecting the ejection, leading to ejection objection rejection complication! (from a book never written, "Transformers: The Plot Thins")
  8. G.I. Joe thread - Yo Jo June 2026: Hooded Cobra Commander and others

I'm not really sure, I guess the easiest way to check would be to pop the head off, cool it, and look inside the neck hole? I'm not sure what difference the plastic would make longevity-wise but if it's not paint I guess that negates the scraping risk I was worried about for the color-change face.
  9. Hasbro PulseCon 2021 October 22nd & October 23rd

Not Transformers, but the Emperor and Throne just shipped too. Looks like this time the exclusives are going out quick. No news on my 'all purpose background extra' Zartan, though.
  10. Thundercats - General Discussion (and some Silverhawks too, whynot)

I'm on some level tempted to get the throne just as its own thing and put Mumm-Ra on it, since they never made his sarcophagus to go with it. Then again, the only Thundercats Ultimate I have IS the glow-Mumm Ra, and for their 2001 stuff I only went for the Monolith and ape guy. I'm not a very...
  11. G.I. Joe thread - Yo Jo June 2026: Hooded Cobra Commander and others

Does anyone know how long temperture-controlled color change paint on toys lasts? I was thinking about Pulsecon Zartan, I got in an order for one the day they went live. It hasn't shipped yet but looking at reviews I am unsure as to how well it will handle both the scraping of face-swapping...
  12. MPG - new Japanese Transformers series

Tailfin cracks? I knew about the problem with Prime's knees and MP BW Megatron's panels and pelvis, but this is the first I knew the seekers had issues. This honestly does bug me, not only is the price a bit out of my league, but even if it wasn't, a combiner has so MANY parts. It doesn't...
  13. Hasbro PulseCon 2021 October 22nd & October 23rd

I am so used to things being ordered several months in advance that the Ravage 2-pack ordered Friday being shipped today took me entirely by surprise.
  14. Transformers Legacy toyline

I was sort of hoping there would be another 'not really making sense but still fun' thing like the Weapon/fossilizers, that could work with anything. This line would seem perfect but nothing so far. And I still wonder what an Energon Monster is, maybe some sort of big but hollow and...
  15. Transformers Legacy toyline

I just went back to look at the sill pictures, and is it my imagination, or just picture angles biasing things, that the box for Dragstrip looks really, REALLY tiny...?
  16. Transformers Legacy toyline

I hadn't noticed Dragstrip wasn't CW compatible. If he's also the smaller size we've seen recently, that would either mean a very probably small Menasor, or that he and the other cars will be the 'arm sides and boots' style of combination, probably with Motormaster's trailer becoming the...
  17. Transformers Legacy toyline

I will be interested in what else is shown tomorrow. I myself have so MANY car-formers that it's hard to get me really enthusiastic about any of them, but I'm very curious as to how they will do the 'Energon Monsters' and the implied Pretender remakes. Then again, it may be a version of Beast...
  18. New pictures of “Reformatting” Galvatron and accessories!

I would like it for my Ghostbusters, but I'm not willing to shell out the $75-$90 rumored for it.

It's like Wal-Mart but it just sits around the office and does nothing.
