FWIW, McFarlane cut prices for the 2023 non-BAF, non-Page Punchers DC figures to $19.99. And from what I read, freight costs are down to below what they were pre-pandemic.
I have also stated in the past the view that Hasbro "over stepped" on the price increases to give them a buffer on...
What?! I, literally, just got Tarn.
Hasbro laughs at our attempts to budget...
In seriousness, I get the feeling Hasbro's rushing out some of this stuff to get them in the retail system before the focus on Rise of the Beasts for the next several months. I'm suspecting we might not see wave...
Studio Series is about accuracy, not fun! (j/k)
I think it really helps that the film has a far more robust cast than the Bumblebee film, and we're seeing some nifty stuff. I think the “Beast Alliance“ angle is, maybe, a bit less ambitious than the Energon Igniters from Bumblebee, I think...
CNET got to reveal the transforming Optimus Prime blaster, the transforming masks…and REintroduce the Smash Changer Optimus Prime.

Comicbook.com has revealed the “Beast Mode...
I'm still on the fence about Scourge, simply on a budget issue. Also, I totally called Freezer being a "missing part" of a larger figure. He clearly "fills out" Scourge's truck mode, and turns into a larger weapon.
Also, in the natural light of the livestream, Cheetor looked MUCH better...
Power Rangers already got an NFT Megazord, why not Transformers? :p
I think "shelving" might be too strong a word. I DO think that, without Goldner's direction and drive, we're going to see Hasbro pull back on the "IP company" side of things...hopefully with a renewed focus on fundamentals...
Hasbro ran their Pulse stream, light on Rise of the Beasts (short "officially" revealing Scourge), but Generations got a good showing with all of wave 2, including some stuff we haven't seen!
Core wave 2: Grimlock is chonky AF! Sludge was unsightly in robot mode, Grimlock got it in Dino mode...
So, Hasbro’s surprises got spoiled again. Product images are out of Studio Series Scourge (showing a much improved truck mode compared to the leakers), orders will open up tomorrow after the livestream event...
It has been commented on that Metalhawk may be incorporating a forward swept wing design similar to what the character had in the IDW comics. Would also let them get around citing him from a “Masterforce Universe”.
I like what I see. It’s authentic to the anime, and Cyclonus was among the...
I'd rather not given that's not going to happen. (Well, MAYBE Tigatron, but only as a repaint/retool of a Cheetor figure)
Product lines, much less those tied to a film push, have gotten pretty lean these days. And with how large the cast appears to be (and there are probably still surprises...
Eh…I personally think some are being more forgiving to the Core deluxe figures because they are, aesthetically, more aligned with Studio Series and Generations and aren’t trying to replicate a stylized look like Prime, RiD2, Cyberverse and Earthspark.
As far as the Core vs Studio Series thing…I...
Which is probably why the OGL revision (especially the part about claiming creative works) reminded me Blizzard’s own EULA shenanigans with Warcraft 3 Reforged.
In that revised agreement, for those unfamiliar, Blizzard basically said “anything you make in our editor, we got dibs on”. Likely to...
I’m still hoping for a Transformers Collaborative Owlbear.
I’m also surprised we haven’t seen more reveals of the toy line. Hasbro stated that the dragon they showed last year with the Golden Archives first reveal was part of a kids line, but it is getting rather close to the film’s release...
Over the past week or so, wave 2 of the Target Special Teams have started to hit retail (Bazooka, Recondo, Cobra Trooper), and today I just got the notification for my preorder on the Tiger Force guys shipping soon from Hasbro Pulse. In addition, during an unboxing stream for the HasLab...
I think TMNT, at its peak, was higher and lasted longer than Transformers. Transformers pretty much peaked at 1986 with the remainder of its run riding that momentum to its conclusion in 1990 (with season 5 being a glorified repackage of older episodes). TMNT was basically THE top action toy...
Just about everything I had on order for March shipped by this point, between Voyager waves 3 and 4. I would NOT be surprised if Voyager wave 5 is that soon so that Hasbro can focus on the movie line for the spring and summer.
