Thank you! It just looked like they used it for everything in the show, so I didn't have a clue.
Anyone ever wonder how the ark can be tilted on the side like that but the floor inside was level...?
I know 'that room' is a bad description, but I don't know another word for it, in the old cartoon it seemed like they were all the same, there was Teletraan, the table/bed/bay or whatever it was, and in the Decepticon base, pretty much the same thing except in purple. 'Generic transformers...
The biggest problem as a lot have already noted would be scale as Transformers are all over the place. Core would be the most cost-effective but not everything can be had in it, especially with the recent shorting of that class.
What I'd like honestly would be a generic 'Ark' ship that unfolds...
Oh wow, that is AWESOME!
And re: the weird rant, what actually happened was on a different board I read for news but refuse to post on, someone was basically having a fit saying that Transformers Crossovers were making everything worse because it kept saying how old certain franchises are...
I've been seeing a lot of people (not just in this fandom) recently getting very depressed that things they liked as a kid are hitting their 40-50th anniversary. I don't see the issue, I think it's great that things have lasted this long, but I decided to help!
This comic made with...
I had Groundbreaker and Octopunch, and they were both lackluster to me. I DID like the TFSS Double Pretenders, and having Double Pretender Megatron pull double duty as a shell for Cerebros with my Encore Maximus was a bonus. The thing is, in both their cases they gave a well-articulated inner...
That looks incredibly expensive AND fragile, though. Especially those extending joint parts.
Based on the one 'modern' one we saw created in semi-recent times (Oilmaster Double Pretender shell) I'm guessing if there is a DinoKing set whoever makes it will probably just go for the two-part...
The Mainframe studio is still around, though it's had a few changes to the name over the years. Rather their old tapes or whatever media they have is still extant and still readable is another matter entirely.
Oh...well...never mind then...
Edit: And Re: Powermaster Prime, I think it would work a lot better if they'd stop giving him t-rex arms. They weren't very big at first anyway but that was a product of the time and we largely overlooked really bizarre proportions in Transformers (Firecon robot...
Now to start a raging fan argument!
"Tanuki not Manju Netsuke" (has Optimus Prime ever been a tanuki...? Truck not Manju Netsuke doesn't quite work...)
I don't even know how they pulled off that color scheme ON Optimus...the breakdown of the mold sprues doesn't even work that way unless there's a TON of paint here...
That's exactly what I did once, the MechaGodzilla toy I wanted turned out to be $360, I said "Hell, no...", reorganized some stuff, and said "Good enough for a joke."
I find it easiest to write Headmaster characters if I assume there's no air holes in the heads. That way after a while you don't have to write the other speech balloon anymore. There's a funny SMELL that lingers for a while, but if everyone's a robot and there's not much atmosphere on...
I like Robotech too (have the entire original novel series) but seeing as transforming robots have been a part of it from the start I'm very confused about what different thing crossing it/Macross with Transformers will bring, except probably better defined facial features. Then again, the...
