I stopped paying attention to the Big Sportsball Days when I quit Target and no longer had to worry about making room for extra pallets of TVs two weeks before.
I dunno, I feel like that's slightly less hard to picture than a space shuttle combining with a helicopter and three land vehicles (even ignoring scale). Combiners generally don't make much sense if you think about them too much.
I'm fine with him keeping the forearm shields, just make them peg into place rather than relying on joint friction. One of mine's has loosened up a bit over the years.
I knew they'd never stick with Breastforce, but.....Ellbat? Even though they still kept Killbison and Deathcobra?
Eh, I don't have $300 worth of interest in the set anyway.
Skybyte looks nice, but I already have the last version and don't need to double dip.
Heatwave really needs a way to fold away the truck fist bumpers to get his torso into the right shape, and I'm gonna need to see better shots of his head; but I also don't have any other versions of the mold...
I wouldn't really count the partners any more than, say, Quake and Needlenose's Targetmasters. But even if they keep them around deluxe scale, that's still seven figures, plus exclusivity tax on a small production run. I'm betting at least $250 to $300 for the set.
Or they can just keep circling the argument forever. So they can keep kissing the orange ring while also claiming that, well, they tried. (And somehow it's also Biden's/Obama's/the Denocrats'/DEI's/other scapegoat of choice's fault, of course.)
