I do like both designs enough to want to see new toys of either. But of course the full Megabot would be preferable. I may be the only one wanting an Armada Optimus- style Commander class one of High Tide and the Megabot rig though.

I think "G1 with Knees" has typically been a more specific label, used for remakes that try to stay true to the original toy (or in some cases the animation model), just with articulation.
