That and, as someone who has dabbled in fiction writing, it effectively DOUBLES the number of characters you have to deal with. For every Head, Target and Powermaster, you have to account for TWO characters.
That's a LOT to juggle with the already hefty cast loads most Transformers fiction...
So, this has actually been trending the past couple years (mostly in collector stuff like the reissues and Masters of the Universe), but this year is the first I’ve seen the phenomenon so widespread At physical retail. It’s amusing because it flies in the face of what we’ve been told...
Uh oh, Steevy’s imagination juices got flowing and now I’ll bless you with a massive splurge of ideas!
Preamble: I’ve noticed that since Kingdom, while Hasbro still makes Armorizors, the Generations figures have largely moved away from wide support of them. Siege and into Earthrise, most...
There is a LOT of information here (Thanks ZacWilliam for the slide images!). Unfortunately…it is all vague enough that we’re all just speculating here.
I have thoughts, but I’m not sure I have enough to really formulate a full “perspective” on this all…but here’s my take:
In regards to the...
Dusting this off because I’ve had some recent hits of inspiration, especially now that we’ve seen some new molds to play with. Also amusing to see some of the ideas we bandied about last year come to life over the course of the last year and change. Since this thread went silent we’ve heard of...
Not only does this counter Starbucks’ generally “pro-green” identity, but…
If you’re hiring someone for the purpose of improving the performance of your company, financing a private jet to shuttle them a few times a week from California to Seattle doesn’t seem like an effective use of money...
Here’s my take, bouncing off your comment:
I feel Kennedy sees (or WANTS to see) Star Wars as a broad setting to tell strong, character driven, stories. Something to be taken more seriously than as a vehicle for just merchandise sales. From the projects associated to her (ie, the non-Filoni...
FWIW, I DID take like a, like 3 episode/week, break after seeing episode 3. Doing a flashback dump after the premiere did a LOT to kill the momentum I had to watch the series. Binged and caught up for the last couple episodes.
But I can see less invested individuals NOT coming back.
I’m not sure this is much of a surprise, but…Disney has opted NOT to move forward with the…divisive…Acolyte series. Despite some big finale cameos, it apparently didn’t do enough and the story of the Acolyte, if it continues, will have to be done in some other medium...
If it’s not a big reveal or spoiler, who the heck is Steve Buscemi voicing? My bet is on the Quintesson, but it is strange to see him get high billing…but no information on his character.
I mean, according to the Supreme Court, Biden is still allowed to do whatever he wants as long as it’s an “official act”. I wouldn’t be adverse to seeing Republicans face the fall out of their own stupidity by having a Democratic President throw some weight around to ensure that sort of...
I’m not sure. It says “Hasbro Studios, LLC” issued a copyright claim, but that subsidiary hasn’t used that name since 2019. Given YouTube’s….loose…verifications for video ownership, I’m not even sure it WAS Hasbro that filed the strike. I’ve also seen them crop up on some of the postings of...
In an attempt to recoup their investment (and I’m still baffled beyond belief that Hasbro passed up the purchase), Embracer Group is continuing to leverage old Crystal Dynamics/Eidos content.
After the original Tomb Raider Trilogy for Evercade, Embracer is following up with…a Legacy of Kain...
