It would've been pretty cool (and easy considering how quick the shot was), to see deaged versions. That's like the perfect use of that tech. Maybe he didn't approve the likeness change.
That does point out the real problem though - to have that much interior volume means almost the entire bot has to fit in the front end. He'd be a heck of a shell-former.
Regardless, that'd be like being born on the 4pm Newark to LA and telling people you were "Born in the air", as an explanation for why you don't know how doors work. He still grew up in Iowa.
That's an unimaginative DM. If you had a 1000 gp diamond to burn on the spell, I'd say go for it. The limits of the spell are pretty straight forward and it says it will even "restore" missing body parts.
It's an odd sort of "message" though. The droids weren't mistreated (Djin) aside, and in fact seemed to appreciate the ability to continue contributing to society. A hallmark of older sci-fi (Trek included) is that we as a species would be able to move forward once the more "basic" necessities...
It was... a lot. For a show that has been relatively subtle with surprise guest stars, this was like an episode of the Love Boat or something. I still liked it over all, but it just seemed out of place and I'm not really sure the "why" of it. Any one of them sure, but three? And yeah, Lizzo was...
It's an interesting fan mode but it looks like they would've had to swap the forearms too right (otherwise the thumbs would be on the wrong side)? Can it still convert?
