    Hyrule Town Square

Some new information has come to light on the origins of the four sages' Japanese names. Each of them are named after the oldest variants of rock, fish, bird, and human in IRL history. Agraston's Japanese name, アーガスタ (Āgasta), is derived from the oldest kind of rock, Acasta Gneiss (アカスタ片麻岩)...

And you know what the biggest irony about Energon is? Despite its status as one of the worst TF cartoons ever made, it's the one TF sequel cartoon that feels the most like a proper sequel to its predecessor. The only other candidate for this title is Rescue Bots Academy.

If I'm being honest, though, I feel it was a mistake on the dub's part to give Starscream such a sinister-sounding G1-esque voice since, unlike G1 Starscream, Armada Starscream had more of a dark, honorable knight-like quality to him, as if "What if BW Silverbolt was truly a devoted Predacon?"...

Oh, don't worry. That's why I said "5-part saga" instead of "5-parter". Each episode is its own story, rather than Parts 1-5 of a single narrative. Sacrifice - Starscream is unknowingly used as a decoy against the Autobots while Megatron goes after the Requiem Blaster at the Autobots' base...

The thing about Armada's episode count and structure is that it really wanted to have four 13-episode story arcs with every 13th episode serving as a major climax built up to over the course of each preceding 12 episodes. Episodes 1-13 deal with the beginning of the series, establishing the...

If anyone here is going to give Armada a new chance at watching, go for the Japanese version. Karyuudo has subbed it in full on their YouTube channel, and it lacks all of the dubbing mistakes, all of the weird acting choices, and half of the animation errors found in the English version.

The screaming is even more intensified in the Japanese dub (which is available to watch subtitled on YouTube via Karyuudo).

In "Optimal Situation", Cheetor refers to Optimus Prime as "our ancestor", speaking of everyone present in the room at the time, which were all the Maximals and Blackarachnia. "He's our ancestor, we gotta get him repaired! Or we're goners."

You know, I found out recently that the "Great Aunt Arcee" line was never meant to be taken literally. According to the glossary section of Beast Wars Universe, there was an earlier script draft of the Season 3 episode "Crossing the Rubicon" where Blackarachnia says to Cheetor, "I'm not your...

Transformers CyberWorld: Optimus STILL Hates Spiders

I guess this is why there was no new episode last week. They probably wanted to hold off until October before playing this creepy Chop Shop episode.
