You mean his Shattered Glass/Gridman colors? I've always been surprised how much mileage that specific characterization got. It would fit the car shape, though, they're similar and I doubt it's coincidence.
Is 'Classics with guns' the new 'G1 with knees'?
Am I the only one who would like the 'new' Bee mold as Cliffjumper, so he would be taller next to the 'old' Bee mold? The only Cliffjumper I have is the Legends scale one that came with a yellow Roller, so an upgrade would be nice, especially if I could have it as an actual different mold than...
"These boots are made for walkin', they're also made in China, so their import duties are rather excessive, and-"
-The day Hound's shoes were not delivered.
Blastoff has shipped. I got Brawl in, too. I really didn't expect to be able to swing them but managed to do a mix of coupons and card points. I'm still not sure it will all work, medical mess is still ongoing, but this is the closest I've come to a complete Bruticus in three different attempts...
Beasts of the Mezozoic is doing something similar right now, Cyberzoic, I think they're calling it?
Awesome cheap-store finds, I will look into those if they still exist!
I eventually gave up and head-canon'd these two Safari LTD armored dinos as composites of the old shell bits left over when the Dinoforce incorporated most of them into improved Beast Modes. They don't hold bots anymore, more like mascots/pets. Helped by the fact that the T-rex has a steo tail...
I remember the Dinoforce grabbing Victory Saber by the ankles before Saber spared them and left, so I think that biases me towards smaller ones. Plus I really liked Dinoking and would love a similar Monstructor box set without hunting parts.
I can also easily see, in my own canon, Deathsaurus...
If that's real, that's a LOT more retooling than I ever expected, and they look to have swapped around the base-limb positions too (or mirror flipped the art...). I'm actually interested. I loved Dinoking. And like I paired up a couple of Safari LTD's armored dinos as a couple...
As Chase Roadburn posts angry youtube videos on how Hasbro hates the fans by blindboxing things, and using a questionable set of scales saying he's weighed them all to find what's inside...
Edit: It's not entirely a joke. The people who claim they know the weights and such for blind packs pop...
Larry: "And in the dream, I was yelling, 'Papa Smurf! Papa Smurf! It's happening again!!!' What does it mean...?"
Archibald: "It means my daughter is going to college."
Am I the only one who looks at Blast-off's 'animation error' forehead and just mentally repurposes it as some sort of 'third eye laser' sort of thing? Or may he's just a WH40K style navigator and that's how he sees to fly through space.
Editing a bit, two things I don't think I've ever shown...
Transformers is the franchise that has actual characters called Windbreaker, Drill Nuts, etc. We're lucky Long Haul wasn't called Take Dump, merging with his fellows to form Big Dump.
