I checked out of the franchise there. Jurassic Park used to be about the consequences of man’s hubris in playing God. Now it has became just another monster franchise, to the point they are literally making monsters to populate their dinosaur franchise. I was mildly interested in Rebirth...
Super7 is showing off some new stuff at Joefest this weekend, including new entries in the ReAction+ line, including Universal Monsters and Back to the Future.
Also, Cobra La.
I say again, Super7 is doing ReAction+ Cobra La, including the Royal Guard and ONCE A MAN COBRA COMMANDER! (And I swear...
Just a few nitpicks, because you know I was gonna :p
Circana doesn’t track digital sales, nor do I believe ALL retailers participate in the data tracking. So when discussing physical games available at retail, the Switch actually only had 5 games: 1-2-3 Switch, Zelda, Skylanders, Bomberman and...
Turns out that regurgitated 3rd party games on glorified download codes wasn't that popular among consumers.

tl;dr- Over 80% of Switch 2 game sales were associated with Nintendo, be it physical games or bundled software. CD...
I checked out the Superman line. They look fine, well articulated, well detailed. Hasbro's Core Snake Eyes basic figures are a pretty apt point of comparison. Spin Master gave up an accessory (they WERE cutting back, if you looked at the last round of stuff from last year with Blue Beetle)...
I'm disinclined to believe that. Both Marvel AND Star Wars have often had multiple items in the same scale over the years. My "vibe" is that Hasbro is treating GI Joe has a legacy brand that is too valuable to let die, but not robust enough for investment that a kids line (much less an...
It was a bit hodge podge up until a couple years ago. Since 2023, both Marvel and Star Wars have settled on the "Epic World of Action/Epic Heroes" 4" style product complimented by several large scale feature figures and 12" Titan figures. The exact structure of the lines vary a bit (between...
More back compat titles tested. Even if there aren’t any major new titles that interest you, the Switch 2 is making a solid name for itself by simply being capable of running older titles at full speed, or at least FAR better than they could eek out of the original platform
Because vibrant colors aren’t “realistic”. Just think how long it took for superhero movies to move beyond “black leather”, or Transformers to move past “silver shards” (especially for the Decepticons).
(Despite modern descendants like birds and reptiles having a VERY diverse range of colors)...
CNN’s version has much better context to the events, indicating that the Peacekeepers were basically “volunteer security” for the protests and are told not to bring weapons. Nonetheless, the Peacekeeper’s actions may well have prevented a larger casualty event had the gunman been allowed to...
Wasn’t sure to put it here or in the “Police” thread, but an innocent bystander was shot during the No Kings protest in Salt Lake City, Utah:

Details are disturbingly vague at...
I haven’t experienced pure joy and fun in a video game in YEARS until I played Astrobot. The challenge stages are…challenging, but the last time I could point to a game I couldn’t stop playing out of pure fun would probably be Super Mario Odyssey.
Get Astrobot
I would actually make the argument Cyberworld, with its toy first approach, seemed more in response to the lackluster reception of Earthspark than any issues with One.
That said, I DO think that poor financial reception to the film may well have put a damper on any “post-Earthspark” TV series...
TFW2005, Galvatron-1999 was apparently in attendance of Josh Cooley’s panel. It was subsequently reiterated by TFHypeGuy, retweeting a post from the official Botcon Twitter (or whatever the kids use for social media these days)...
TF One Director Josh Cooley is starting to do press rounds concerning the next Paramount animated feature, “I Eat Poop: A Dung Beetle’s Story”. While attending Botcon, reportedly, Cooley came out and said that Paramount was not actively looking to develop a sequel to Transformers One at this...
Daphne Zuniga is still around, and acting (And also confirmed to be returning). George Wyner is still kicking, and might be game to play “General Sanderz”, while Michael Winslow and Tim Russ could be tapped for cameos.
