I really want to like the head-swapping gimmick but in-fiction it’s an even less convincing Punch/Counterpunch while in terms of toys, it’s a little man on Sideways’ neck doing some sort of yoga pose.
I think the way the shuttle roof is shaped makes it so that the shuttle would sit on the arm a bit funny and look even less incorporated into a big arm.
you know this is a case where the inevitable DNA heightening parts might actually be worth it.
I think it might also help the proportions to paint the arms in blast Off and Vortex colors.
Seriously what happened here? All they had to do was what Superion and Menasor did but with reversed knees. Isn’t the point of the frame system a better combined mode? What exactly did the frame and bumping the legbots up a size class accomplish aside from placing the ankle tilts at the mid-shin?
It's hilarious how the SD chibi set means that the only significant difference in DIno mode is Sludge. Grimlock sort of has it but the other three look nigh-identical to a non-SD DInobot set. Gonna have to think on this one. Bruticus needs an opponent but the weird baby faces on Swoop, Sludge...
Thing that gets me is all the greeble. Intentional or not, the season 3 cast were a lot smoother in detail than the 84-85 cast members. Kingdom Rodimus is so greebly, even his face has them.
I don't hate pickles on burgers but I do dislike how they're like two or three concentrated bites of pickle out of the whole burger instead of contributing to the overall flavor of the burger.
Dark Energon Prime Megatron’s colors are pretty. They really should use that combo again. Dark Energon Optimus is kind of just a low-rent RTS Laser Optimus.
