I'm still baffled at how they managed to miss the mark of "the rear half of the var mode literally disappears, just make sure it lines up with the trailer right". It was so tantalizingly close to good.

This is my theory, except I'm hoping the limbs are MRR-like in that they have rudimentary robot modes. And, uh, no Automorph, although budget constraints will likely take care of that.
