To make a comment slightly more on topic than my previous one: I like the concept, and the implementation seems quite well developed. I am, however, leery of any character that can slap you while being in an entirely other room.
Missing a month might not be IDW though: apparently the distribution company that picked up for diamond prioritizes book stores over comic stores, and aren't very good at either anyway.
