I wonder if Skyblast waves his tiny arms around frantically while screaming, Invader Zim's 'GIR' style.
Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. Skyblast's hollow barrel, AstroScope's hollow barrel, it's all just an obvious Kiss Players Manga homage. I was way off.
Jetfire and the Minicons all look to have put on some weight during their retirement. And what happened to the front of the rocket...?
Maybe they had someone draw spacecraft from memory.
I just assumed that Optimus Primal in this continuity was very poor, and so he decided to transform into his own coffin to save future funeral expenses. He had the traditional Maximal funeral in this universe where they ceremonially shove the coffin into the first passing large cyber-animal, and...
With all these Bee molds that aren't very big I'd love a commemorative/Selects/whatever set of one of them painted up nicely, with a simple Pretender shell. Posability on par with Oil Slick/Double Pretender Prime should be doable and only half the set needs to be new.
If they're so desperate to make money off existing molds, we need to take that shoe-mode Sports Label Optimus Prime/Megatron, remold the head into Starscream, and then make it in a lot of different colors as the Sneakers.
Ah, ok. I knew about both but I hadn't realized it was a total transition. So the most likely Bugbite would be the same Bumblebee they used for their last one, rather than the long-hood Cliffjumper version...
Maybe New Prime is just their sneaky way of getting fans to demand the return of Old Prime, now called Optimus Prime Classic.
...wait just a second... Rodimus Prime confirmed!
My guess is they're reworking some Combaticons into Autobots. Alpha Bravo is obvious, but Guzzle as a Voyager only makes sense if they're repurposing Brawl.
In MY day, we didn't have old people! We'd sit up with our red Bumblebees, trying to see if some sort of hidden panel existed to show the mechanical detail on the package art that the actual toy didn't have, scratching up the roof with a butter knife in the process! Then we'd pull out the legs...
If Hasbro is depending on the SAME people rebuying over and over, that's not actually a good thing anyway, as it means they're not expanding their market. And sooner or later all collectors will 'age out', one way or the other. One of the reasons I still wholeheartedly support the kiddie lines...
What is the shoulder issue that I've seen people talk about in other forums? I don't have any version of these molds, so I haven't honestly been paying attention. I knew that the original leg-bots had a lot of clear plastic, and it looked like the G2 set might have swapped it for solid (though...
Star Wars/Marvel has an advantage in having already-existing simpler and smaller lines, that would be easy to adjust. But at the same time, those same lines have a LOT of redundancy in both sizes and features, and a great many other licencees. I could see them narrowing a bit, and very...
I have had parts of Bruticus multiple times since Energon and never finished it, then thought AOTP was out of the running but managed to start it despite everything. Now to see if the track record continues regardless...
If you're fabulously wealthy, financially irresponsible, and/or totally insane (I recommend all three at once for best results) you can now get a 1:1 oxygen destroyer replica for $3500. Batteries required, not included...
