This is 100% Missing Link. It is just not the Missing Link that any of us thought would be possible or likely. The thing that I am trying to figure out now that preorders have gone up, is where the $129 worth of value is, because as neat as it is, IMO, it isn't worth that.

Yeah, I think that the train mode is where the new version excels. The shuttle mode is alright and if I'm honest, better than the Siege/Whatever. But there is just no excusing that robot mode.

Wow, I have never heard about those. I loved Gobots as a kid but by 1986, I was pouring most of my soul energy into Transformers. Cool concept though, and congrats on finding one!

I've got the Selects version as well, and haven't encountered any issues with my copy. I'd like to know what to look out for, though.
