Flip the formula and have beast main bots land on Cybertron and team up with vehicle limbs. Keep it fresh by having the vehicle limbs be more BM Vehicon-ish in design.
Or on Earth, seeking fellow beasts but finding vehicles. Make these the less-featured vehicles or makes. A train, a school...
Oh, ergh, just make a new one. That's going to be weirdly lanky and tall. Maybe the frame could be a new beast or something. Or like a Pride Rock for Razorclaw to hang out on.
But hey, maybe they ARE making a new one and this is just the typical-by-now One Last Milking of the mold.
I'd love a new dino for a main body bot. But not a T-Rex or apatobrontowhatever... Give us a brachiosaurus. (And more limbs, dino and otherwise. More more more limbs. I want more choices for Ground Energy, and a black or red wing backpack guy.)
Besides, it's on the internet. There's no unscrambling that egg.
I'm just stunned at the decision to make this into a whole thing. Really need those clicks that much?
Edit: more charitably, I wonder if they did reach out to Hasbro to clear it and were told "what? That thing? Didn't that...
Oh, man, awesome. Thanks!
I've toyed with the idea of using Hydrophant instead of Frost Saber so I don't have to get the 2-pack, but kinda prefer the black parts over the silver so I may need to figure it out...
I'd love to do the same, but my circumstances force me to pick and choose (and already I've stepped over that line a bit, haha). Just get one of each Energy type, and in the process a set of matchy-enough limbs for Nemesis Prime.
As it is, I think Botbots is the only line I've done this with...
Gorgeous!
Could I request a shot of Nemesis Prime combined with Lavamuleta, Frost Saber, Abyss Rain, and Captain Volca? (I've no clue how to get rid of the Megatron from that 2-pack, but Frost Saber looks so cool /pun)
Yup, I think Exatron's just sharing what it's like to get explicitly hit with one rather than in a less-direct "factored into the cost in a less visible but no less real painful" way.
I feel that must be a pretty sobering moment.
Yeah, I want to believe, but history hasn't exactly shown that trend.
Charitable benefit of the doubt, I guess: if I were Hasbro, I'd keep things where they are for a while too, if only because who knows what fresh hell will come after this question is supposedly settled (and it might not even...
Is there a reference I'm missing with the rubber chicken? I mean, awesome, but is that a deep cut for Stranger Things or era-appropriate rock or whatever?
Edit: huh. Okay, apparently it's been a ST production team inside joke for a while.
The Nonnef parts look to swap the entire arm below the shoulder chunk. Just as well do you have a fully silver arm. Wish he'd gone and redone the shoulder too (it's a ball joint, iirc; idk if that's easier or harder to design for) to be more evocative of the door panel shapes. But then they do...
