It's like Gundam X-
It was a severe financial disappointment so that "spins" the narrative into the product being bad...even if it really wasn't. I will DIE on the hill that Gundam X would have been a more relevant series to give American audiences in 2001 than try to force the god damned...
The figures have been redesigned. While sharing similar sculpting design, the figures are all redesigned with improved details and deco with the shoulders and hips being ball joints. There should not be any issues with "splaying". Plus, I fully expect the new Piranha to be more durable, if...
Even I was surprised to see Walmart "jump the gun" on the price increases. It would not have surprised me to see a price jump...but I was expecting retailers to wait until AFTER the holidays to do so.
Guess not...
Neither of those changes, I feel, would have adversely detracted from the film, but probably would have gone farther in "tightening up" the entire narrative
Yeah...we're trending into "extra paycheck" territory so mine will probably be going up in the next week.
Stuff like this is why I can't win the lottery :p
The wait for wave 1 of MASK continues with expectations that the line will be shipping to consumers by the end of the year. But as we wait to get the initial offerings, TLS has revealed the line up for wave 2 (due to go to preorder Sometime in 2026):
The Gator
Jackhammer (renamed the Armored...
Tron Ares opened number 1 and the box office…at a soft $33.2 million. Global weekend haul of just a hair under $60 million. Not a sterling start, even with a more modest (reportedly $150 million) budget. For reference, Tron Legacy had a whopping $170 million (in 2010) budget which garnered a...
I was getting around to posting here! :p But yeah, Schrodinger‘s tariffs are back in play after things cooled off this past fall.

I’m not sure I disagree about Age of the Prime’s being the last “main...
For the record, it is confirmed that Studio Series Soundwave features TWO sets of boombox controls: one detailed for alt mode, one ”streamlined” for robot mode.
Not sure how I feel about that use of deco and engineering resources. The initial vibe is negative, though.
Official images and even preorders are up for 200x Cartoon Classics wave 1 and deluxe Beast Man. Sadly, TriKlops seems to have got his Doomseeker priced out :(

To be brutally frank, my “pricing estimates” are probably on the REALLY conservative side. The last 3.75” Star Wars Speeder Bike TVC set was $45 in 2023, and it featured a single figure without the bells and whistles seen on these. The Speeder bike itself, while likely more painted, wasn’t as...

There’s also 6” figures on deck, though they look to be Pulse exclusive, maybe? Wouldn’t surprise me if 6” Classic Tron was in the works, but they just don’t want to take away from the HasLab offering.
I’m mixed on the HasLab. Pricing isn’t BAD (average $18 per...
Hasbro’s running a Flash sale over on Hasbro Pulse. Prices for the GI joe stuff is pretty close to where Amazon was pricing stuff, with some extra selections like Action Marine joining the Action Pilot/Halo Jumper at $26.94
Hmmm...How high will it go? (Not mine, but if it gets high enough...this might finance the next year's toy budget. Or a Switch 2, or a new gaming PC)...
Reviews from the mainstream critics are rolling in for Tron Ares and...it's a mixed bag. Plot, writing and all the typical "meat" of a movie are generally being lambasted, while the action sequences and, ESPECIALLY, NIN's soundtrack are getting almost unanimous praise across the board...
