Calling the 1989 Batman movie "the first one" became a lot less common after Batman Begins came out.
And I don't just mean the Tim Burton ones became less remembered, I mean I think the 1966 one actually gets more acknowledgment now than it did 30 years ago.

I think that if you put the four seasons in order for which ones are best to debut something, the order for TV would be the exact opposite of the order for movies.
Because why wouldn't it? TV does better when people are staying home more, after all.
Don't let the fact that the Pope has had some stopped clock moments on war and immigration distract you from the fact that he's not interested in ending the Catholic Church's transphobia (or its sexism, or its "wanting to be able to cover up crimes by priests" issue)...
