Wham, bam, in the van!
My first and only time working on a Flame Toys anything. Not really a model kit guy (the most I've done is Super Mini Pla stuff), but this was an interesting experience.
I ordinarily wouldn't even go in this direction, except this was the only real representation of the...
The main thing that would interest me is a new take on Astrotrain, and this IS that. And I do respect the effort that's gone into reconciling these very different altmodes. But these pictures are not very flattering, especially that robot mode. I'll wait to see more.
Kranix is a welcome...
I'd really rather a smaller PMOP (If it's, say, a Commander class PMOP and Leader Ginrai, sure). The rest are also likely to be quite fun. TBH while I'm passing on the Primes out of necessity, I'm curious as to how else they can be used.
I agree that the FFOD head on Prima and the general...
To my mind the sweet spot, perhaps unsurprisingly, would be Deluxe again. (I am thinking of a Cybertron Unicron style take, not a planet, although I'd LOVE a tiny transforming planet.) Comparatively small (to the Leader class Unicron Soldier and certainly to HasLab Unicron for those who have...
My heart hopes like heck for a Missing Link Unicron, but my wallet hopes for a special return screening in US theaters that I wouldn't be partaking of.
There's also ones that have metal pins drilled through them, and have to flex a little so their tabs lock into the rest of the car.
Having recently gotten Windcharger, it's one of the things I'm not fond of on that mold. It's charming in that it's essentially a more lavish execution of the POTP...
The amount of retooling would probably be right out (the only things that work here are really the giant horns), but it'd be wild to have it turn into Unicorn's head like the Arms Micron Gaia Unicron.
Pretty sure we're referring to the same thing, heh. I just felt more certain about those being easy ways to milk the mold at least once.
But actually yeah, I do kind of want to see the Universe decos again. Except I can't decide if I want the kitschy tribal tattoo designs or the absurdly sized...
That's kind of where I've most recently landed on it too. I'm content to know, and have others know, that the creator of the property is absolute irredeemable unromanticizeable trash. But she's already rich beyond our wildest dreams and it seems unnecessary to deprive ourselves (I'm not in that...
I hope your Mach Alert's clear plastic is holding up better than mine. Even in storage the clear plastic ball joint sockets just... Gave up. Remake this batch of bots next, Hasbro
"The 80s called, they--"
"Yeah, well, the 90s called too."
One of the customs in the big batch I sold off was a Goldbug custom, which I had to mark down because it was missing the head (which I'd poorly cast, per usual, from SG Goldbug). Couldn't find it (part of the cast being poor was a...
I'd like to see more of the primary media featuring them together, instead of mostly changing out which Smurfette on each side to feature. We've gotten doses of this in things like Cyberverse, although that's helped along by having a fairly sprawling cast in general.
It is really messing with my mind how good that anime version looks. Mainly because this line is so clearly meant to be a toy thing that it doesn't seem fair to expect it to also wear the show colors, but then you realize that nope, they were always going to look great.
