Well, the analogy is obvious. The pack of saber-toothed tigers were the sharks of the time period (Sharks also existed, of course, but were busy in New York fighting the Jets for control of the schoolyard) and I think we can all agree that a mammoth is basically the same thing as a firetruck...

Man, those things were everywhere. Zoo/Aquarium/Museum gift shops, discount stores, Easter baskets. They weren't GOOD, but they do have a certain charm. Care was definitely put into the animal modes even if the robot modes are lacking.

It's a custom, I remember seeing it before. Pretty great, though.
