The administrative state needs to go. There are things that would be harder to do without it. There are good things that would go away, and there are some terrible people who want it gone for exactly that reason.
But it needs to go, because jive like this is the inevitable conclusion. No one...
Sadly those may legitimately be the best images Hasbro has. Show accuracy is the name of the game these days, but the animation is way too inconsistent to be useful, and there's no fan-colored character models they can mistakenly use.
Nobody does combining robots like Takara. Any other company would have skipped the trick of giving the super mode bigger feet, or would have included a set of larger feet that you swap out with Jetfire's smaller but transformable feet.
We are looking at a much more complicated transformation than the original. I'm not sure I've totally worked it out yet. There's some necessary stuff, like Jetfire's arms are connected to the wings now, because they need to move to a different spot, because those working super mode legs take all...
I want to believe that's exactly what happened, and it's possible. We have a brand team that has exactly that kind of energy, and we have a CEO who has expressly challenged all brand teams to have a "Just do it" approach if they think they have a viable idea. This is a potentially dangerous...

There's no chance in a million years that this current Transformers team would skip the pants mode.
Also the super mode hips are visible in shuttle mode.
If I financially survive my latest city issues I am buying Jetfire and the Prime reissue, even if Jetfire's pants mode hasn't been revealed by then. I trust that they gave it the treatment it deserves.
I'm optimistic. These look bad to me, to a degree that makes me suspect something was deliberately prioritized over their looks. Stability would make sense.
