Yeah, the normal version of Rexcalibur included with Rexblade is likely the sword's normal appearance while the "Special Color ver." likely represents the sword in a glowing, powered up form mid-attack sequence or something.

It was always so weird that they modeled that toy's head and deco off of G1 Skids despite the obvious homage in the rest of the body.
